Hi ladies and gentlemen! Aaron is here. As implied by my channel name, I am quite an aviation enthusiast and I love sharing my flying experiences with you. Please share with me your thoughts and recommendations, I'd happily consider them :)
Dunno. Might be just a coincidence. I mean this chime sounds pretty generic, so I won’t be surprised if a few other airports in the world use a similar chime.
Hi Aaron, amazing review there,👍 averagely how long was the process (20 mins, 30mins, 1 hr etc) from check-in to the boarding gate. As a frequent traveler, what transit time or period will you recommend for any traveler.
I already checked-in online in Bintulu, and I didn’t have a check-in luggage, so the process in Bintulu was quick. As for the transit duration, it really depends on the frequency of flights. MH only flies twice a day from Bintulu to Kuala Lumpur and twice a day from Kuala Lumpur to Melbourne. Therefore there was little flexibility in the time spent in transit. In this case, I spent almost 12 hours at KLIA. If the flights are more frequent, then there is more flexibility in the transit time. Whenever possible, I’d prefer 2-3 hours of transit.
This happed to me on AirAsia X from Kuala Lumpur to Perth. I was on the window seat and they started taking apart the wing🤣and after a two hours we took off again😭
@@aarontheaviationaddict3643 no what I could see was them take it off and just looked in there with a light and did that for like 2 hours and then they put some tape on something then put back together 💀
Ahhh Tassie, the only state I've somehow never made it down to, living my whole life in Melbourne whilst what looks like a small little paradise is just a 1 hour hop away.
@@aarontheaviationaddict3643 nah, the duty runways that day were the 32s and 33. Usually runway change due to winds are initiated by controllers. In other airports, one can take off from one direction and the next plane can take off from the opposite direction right after but not in KLIA, due to the traffic volume and numerous procedures for runway changes. If the tailwind gets above a certain threshold and persists over a certain period of time then controllers will switch runways. Otherwise, it will be maintained provided it’s well within the limits 😉
1K Subs! Hi everybody, just want to thank everyone of you for your support. My apologies for being inactive these past few months as a lot has been on my plate lately. I have a backlog of trip reports that have already been recorded but still waiting to be edited and uploaded, so stay tuned.😊
Yeah, cabin desperately needs an upgrade. IFE also needs some work, and it’s content needs to be more consistent throughout the fleet. Hopefully, once they fully recover (if they do recover), Malaysia Airlines can upgrade its cabins and services.
