I'm old enough to remember watching all those guys except Jim Brown. JB to me was that dude from "I'm Gonna Git You Sucka" before I knew he used to be a football player. And he's not just a football player, he's like THE football player. Arguably the GOAT.
No incentive for this guy when his entire contract was guaranteed. So, if they want to bench him he’ll be fine with that. Sucks for the Browns Fan base.
Yeah fully guaranteed contracts are a horrible idea. The only way I could ever see something like this working is if you had an escape clause based on performance. If the player didn't meet predetermined objectives during the season you could cut them before a specific date. If you don't cut them they are fully guaranteed for the next season of the contract.
Can you imagine the penalties guys like Jim Brown, Walter Payton, Etc.. would have in today's game. They'd probably get ejected for roughing the dline.😂😂😂😂
Happy to have drafted both Nabers and Kamara, but I unfortunately drafted CMC, Pacheco and Puka. Also have Hock and Chubb sitting on IR too. Team is going to be incredible if I make playoffs, but it’s unlikely that I will.
