Yeah, I found out on this run that resetting on RB1 while the fret shaking animation is still playing locks them in at whatever angle they were on the last frame of the previous attempt lmao
Great tune, i would highly recommend you play some of the Pinkerton songs that were customs, but the author took down the download links a while back :(
I mean the point of a thumbnail is to give an immediate impression at just a single glance and get people to actually watch the video instead of just scrolling past - the trouble is that when playing at low delay to get a good score the notes have to register way ahead of the strikeline which makes it much less feasible to get a single frame that actually works for thumbnails so in this case I edited in the highway from another run at a lower scroll speed to show off the solo in a way that gives a much more interesting instant presentation of the kinds of patterns that show up in the song. I wouldn't really say it's clickbaity in a shady or dishonest way since I really did play everything on display, but I can understand why it might give that kind of impression.
Kinda stupidly annoying song on PG, though there you can Spam strum without dropping combo [its dumb but hey its more fun than actually trying to play the whole thing] Which is a shame since its really a stand out song, very good sounding and it would have been good on RB/GH.
@@Radekore me and hugh started work on DCensors like a year ago but it was canned because we can’t update audio in dance central either, if you’re talking about can’s old rb2 decensors those were just done by replacing the dlc files
God Rock Band really needed more Bad Religion. They’re great. I’m especially sad Infected did not get the full band treatment. Also wow this chart looks inaccurate.
@@cicabeot1 yeah this chart was definitely not great but that's kinda just to be expected from Power Gig lol. There do seem to be a decent number of customs for Bad Religion on this game, but more official content would definitely have been a good addition to the RB library
I have most of the GH1 covers, small amount of GH2 covers, 2 GH80’s covers, 5 GH3 re-recorded songs, and all regular GH: Aerosmith songs (except the battle track), all as full band customs. Do you want them?
@@thattonnatoguywithafez8246 Yeah I was pleasantly surprised at how much of the setlist was actually fun to listen to, even a lot of the tracks from lesser known artists have been pretty enjoyable
@@cicabeot1 For sure - QotSA in general seems somewhat underutilized in rhythm games, they have so many songs that would be a great fit for the GH/RB series but each one only got a small handful. Even Rocksmith only got one set of DLC early into 2014's lifecycle, would have liked to see more.
Yeah that does seem a little low, the chordy patterns in the verse seem worthy of at least tier 1 or 2. Then again this is the same company that ranked Rock and Roll Hoochie Koo as devil tier and Once Bitten Twice Shy as tier 4 lmao
Yeah it's awesome! Was added to this game a few months ago but had an issue with the multiplier ring not showing up in the right state, luckily that was recently fixed so it's perfect now
Fun fact: the OG version of this song used to be blocked on YT and uploading the GHA version of it would result in a block due to it sounding very similar. The band would later have 3 master recordings of other songs of theirs as RB3 DLC but This song obviously never made it on an official rhythm game outside of covers.
Basically have the chart memorized and rely entirely on the audio for timings. It definitely takes some practice but after a while it's surprisingly not all that bad
Seems to just be a weird quirk with how that animation was programmed, it can sometimes be in sync if the first drum note is on beat 4 instead of beat 1 but most of the time it just shows the entry happening way before the audio of the actual hit lol Animations are also affected by video calibration delay so that probably doesn't help when I'm playing at crazy settings for early whammy
yes this is a fo me ken omage and some fo thos from my ilod acadame school fo muice and rock but this time i had with me some thers from hello englsh we all hope you injoye this ok rion mooouusey lets got bake to the muice
Hadn't really planned on ever doing much RBN content honestly, that one seems like a pretty decent song but goes on for a long time and the path consists entirely of annoying acts so I don't think I'll be playing it anytime too soon
It genuinely is a good song - really fun to play in this game too, probably even more so with lanes disabled but even with them on it wasn't that bad once I figured out the trick
