Hello and welcome to Penny’s Papeterie, a channel for all those who love paper crafting. I’m obsessed with pretty paper, and I might just be hoarding some! My goal in 2024 is to put a significant dent in my stash and to use what I have. I do card making, pocket scrapbooking, 12x12 scrapbooking, mixed media, DIY embellishments, December Daily, and haul videos. I hope you stick around and do some paper projects with me!
I saw it on another channel years ago and have been using it since! Stamping isn't my favorite thing, so having a shortcut for it makes me happy! I hope it simplifies things for you, too! Happy crafting!
I never heard of The Dollarstore. We have Dollar Tree and Dollar General. They don't carry any papercrafts like that. Thanks for sharing! Love all the items you got.
The Dollarstore must be Canadian. Our craft store options here are limited. We do have Michaels but there's no Hobby Lobby or Joanne's. I've been thinking about doing a shopping trip to the US just for craft goodies! Does anyone have any recommendations?
Thanks @lynnmccann6497! It's just The Dollarstore for us here in Canada! We don't have that many to choose from! I was super excited because my local store has finally been getting more craft supplies and wood blanks in. I still haven't seen their vinyl or their "Cricut" tools yet, though.
Hello Penny🖐️ I'm a RU-vid Marketer. I have seen some of your videos, the videos are good. But the views are very less and the number of subscribers is not increasing🙁. So I have analyzed your RU-vid channel and found out some problems🧐. Do you want to talk about it for a while?

That's a great idea! I like having the bingo sheet to remind me of techniques and tools that I sometimes forget to use. So far, I feel like it's working. Crazy how something so small can make an impact on your crafting and make it a fun challenge!
I had a lot of trouble with eyelets this year too. My eyelets are new this year, from Amazon, and I think they are cheaply made. They just squished. Also, same here. I don’t need anything for next year. Very pretty tag page. Tfs
Thanks for the feedback. I love making pages like this! Cheap eyelets are my new nemesis! This page was quite frustrating. I may have to get different eyelets or look at replacing my tool. Hopefully, your December daily is going more smoothly than mine!
I am the complete opposite. I'm not a perfectionist. I scrapbook to document memories. I take tons of photos for my December Daily and if it doesn't get done til next November I'm OK with it. Im working on my 7th year album this year and it's already chunky 😆
@ReiverGrad14 thank you for your comment. Isn't it strange how much pressure we put on ourselves as scrappers?! I'm working on letting things go more and not caving in to the perfectionist in me! Happy scrapping!
@jedianne, thank you! It's one of those parts of scrapping that a lot of people don't share. I always feel like I want to know how people cope and get through it. Too much of our social media is focused on looking at people's perfect lives. 🥰 Thank you for the support. Life is messy but still beautiful.
I struggle to use up alpha sets that are missing a lot of letters so seeing you "hack" the numbers/alphas inspired me to use the leftovers more instead of tossing them or giving them to my 8 year old.
Lol! I'm glad to hear that my hacking inspired you! I have sooo many alphas and numbers that are missing the letters and numbers I need. I decided to let my OCD go and use 'em anyway! Good luck stash busting!
I'm toying with the idea of doing a project life type album like this next year. First, thanks for the inspiration. Second, when you have big events (birthdays, holidays, etc.) that occur during the week, how do you document those? Do you do a 12X12 and include it? Do you have a separate album? Also, is you December Daily a separte album? Sorry for all the questions. Just curious. I'm trying to get back into scrapping after 20 some years. Thanks.
I loved all your questions! I typically do a separate layout for big events like birthdays. Sometimes, it's a regular 12x12 that I just add to the album, and other times, it's a pocket page. I've even been known to cut down a pocket page to fit the number of photos that I have. I do have a separate album for December Daily, but I tend to document a lot of the same photos in my regular album. You can do it! Jump back into documenting those memories!
Thank you! It's always so hard. The little stinkers steal our hearts and then break them. The healing process has started, though. We're spoiling little Teddy rotten!
I was just watching an old video from Tim where he talks about his inks and how to use them. He said that it doesn't matter which direction the ink pads face...flat, on their side or even upside down. He did say that if you live in a very humid climate, the excessive dampness MIGHT cause leaking if they are on their sides. If so, just stop storing them that way. Basically, if you store them on their side, and they don't leak, it's all good. I adore Tim, and go back over his old videos from time to time. It gets the creative juices flowing.😁👍🏻 The video I was watching is 2 years old and the title is something like... Distress inks + oxides
Thank you, Doug. Those little critters steal your heart and then break it when it's time to say goodbye. 15 years is a long time to love a fur baby. ❤️
Thank you! When I make embellishments, I usually go down a rabbit hole and end up watching every embellishment video I can find. It's easy to get 6 I've been trying to streamline my creative process!
Hi, !! Hope you are well. I have visited your RU-vid Channel and your video making is very good. Your content ideas are very good. Thank you so much❤❤❤
Thanks for watching! Here is the link for the stars share.temu.com/Pot7FNXsb9A The stitched trees are currently out of stock but the item number is F - 1160. Happy Temu shopping!
