Like many, I’m getting into touring cars again after several years, although I’ve raced off-road continuously. I would imagine to the novice, this is just a depressing video, making one consider drones instead. 😅
I'm building a X4'24 and having issues getting the turnbuckles of the rear suspension linkeges to thread in, any advice? The other turnbuckles threaded in flawlessly, and im following the thread direction from the manual
As everybody knowns, c hub suspension is so much better, more tuneable and way more consistent than this pile of balljoints becoming play after just one ride. 🤣 But marketing is all what counts...but there is technically no advantage but only disadvantages with this design. Delaminating issues right away as these materials will work their self loose against each other....etc. But you have to believe in it, maybe... who knows...ah wait, there having exact this issues atm. Read around...
I really wanted to watch this optimistically and with an open mind. But if you look at these parts and their manufacturing costs, the price they charge is just too far above what's needed to have a sustainable business. Plus they should be making what they need after selling you the car kit itself. I'm fine if they just have Hudy as the overpriced but optional sister brand, but if they're tacked that into the cost of ownership of Xray in the spare parts....I dont know man. Awesomatix is looking pretty nice right now even for someone just getting into TC
I'm on the fence on buying one because everyone is saying those new upper arms are extremely fragile and breaking frequently. Has xray responded to this?
Hello my friend, thanks for sharing. may I ask you about the proper settings for the Tamiya TA08( droop, ride height, down stop, camber and toe? Thanks in advance
I have rebuilt my X4 diff two times now, the damn thing still leaks.. I'm using 10000 Cst., this is a bit ridiculous for the price. I'm just about to give up with this thing.
Will there be a more in-depth making of videos like the 2021 car, explaining some of the changes and the reasoning behind them. The 2021 cars videos series was great.
It’s an awesome car. Last weekend tested out the X4’24 for the first time in the Danish National Stock GT Championship. There were very little grip in the carpet because of hard tires were demanded but the X4’24 had no issues and Lyhne RC Jr. finished 2nd on his very first run with this amazing car. We simply love it ❤🏎🏆
Thanks for the content Alex. I have one question. I have a tight low traction track (10s laps). What would be your first choice body for this type of track? Thanks. xray x4 2023 13.5T
@@vdangr Achso, ja klar als Entwickler und Tester. Ich meinte als normaler Käufer würde ich nie absichtlich gegen eine Wand fahren um zu sehen ob alles hält.😆
