Hi, there, and welcome to my channel! My name is Alicia, my husband and I are on Weight Watchers and have been, on and off, since 2010. Through the years of doing WW, I have developed a love of cooking and baking healthier recipes. I really enjoy lightening up recipes and making them healthier and lower in calories and WW points, but still delicious! I like sharing those recipes on here! I also do WW friendly grocery hauls and meal plans as well as other food related content. I am excited to share all of this on my channel and I hope you will come along on this journey with us!
My grandma made this custard almost every week. also brings back memories of her. I loved her custard and she always saved me a ramekin. Love and miss you grandma.
Alicia….you need to create a recipe ebook. I’m sure a lot of your followers would purchase it. You have the best recipes and it would be nice to have them all in one place.
Thanks, Connie😊 I might someday! For now though, I do have playlists like this one that have most of my recipes on it ➡️ru-vid.com/group/PLQMhs-OL_mRxE-ja-8UxTG5-DXZrq1Cn2 as well as other more specific playlists, like desserts, etc. I also have a Pinterest page that has most of my recipes on it as well! ➡️ru-vid.com?event=channel_description&redir_token=QUFFLUhqbjRKMlNraXVLSmlHQkNsXzZtT1Q0am5MSFlYd3xBQ3Jtc0tuR0VkMkM2YXZwb2RsdXhZSzRBZnlBN2g5OXkxdGN6czBBcG1nZHZzQ3lBN3VVU0NqNWF3QlV5UldwMFZFaEY1WUdsNVZUb2dReXpnUFpydkRtLThyQXJnRHRpOG9sZ3M1bUJNWjNfR29GZjlsc2ZlUQ&q=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.pinterest.com%2FAliciaLynnYT%2F_created
I have watched about 20 of your videos so far. New viewer. I absolutely love your content and recipes. Using your recipes will help me so much in making WW a lifestyle instead of just a diet. Please keep em coming. Im here for anything you put out! God Bless!
Happy Sunday, Alicia. You think prices are high in Montana for groceries, don't come to south Florida I think they're trying to make every item cost five dollars. Thank goodness for BOGO's😂 Anyway, Sunday is pasta night, so I'll be making this recipe tonight, can't wait! I had a bunch of zucchinis, so I went to all your zucchini recipes, and they've all been delicious!!😋 Thank you much!! Enjoy your upcoming week. UH OOoo back to rambling, sorry❤
Grocery prices are insane everywhere! I agree on the BOGO's! Glad you enjoyed my zucchini recipes, I need to make some myself lol Hope you have a wonderful week ahead, sweet friend!💞
Alicia it’s now 1 month later & I’ve had a 13 day streak of staying on course & tracking everything. I’ve gone up prior to starting up again, so now I’ve got more points than I know what to do with. I was curious, using this recipe could I use a different fruit like blueberries or peaches? The strawberry one looks so yummy, which brings me to my other ?, could this be made with frozen fruit? Thanks in advance for your expert opinion . You really know your way around a kitchen!!!
Great job with your streak! I hate to track points but it definitely helps. You could definitely do this with other fruit. I think peaches would be amazing! I find most of the time you can use either fresh or frozen fruit in things like this. I'm always mixing it up and using what I have on hand for the most part, when it comes to baked goods. The only real issue is the different moisture content you are going to get from them and sometimes that can be a problem, but most likely not with this recipe. Thank you, I have had a lot of trials and errors in my kitchen😄 I'm always learning new things!
@@AliciaLynnYT I’m sure he will. BTW have you ever done a WW friendly Rice Krispie Treat. That would be so nice to have. It’s a classic treat from our childchood!
I do! I have 2 on here, actually. Regular one is here ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-bzYWnzsAjxg.html and a peppermint version is here ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-2-2ERZlsSQ4.html
Hi Alicia, can't wait to make these with my granddaughters for Halloween. They kinda look halloweeny to me😂 Anyway hope all is well with you and enjoy your weekend. I can see those in my foyer with a Halloween pumpkin next to them. Tnank you They look delicious🧡
A few suggestions for fun is mix sugar free syrup with the powdered peanut butter instead of water and put flaky salt on top of the top layer chocolate before it sets.
Oh good! I just clicked on your link to this recipe. My hubs doesn't like crunch topping, but I'm definitely going to try this recipe without the topping. Who doesn't like broccoli and cheese?! ha ha
Great idea to put turkey pepperoni with the light string cheese in the microwave as a snack! I'm definitely on board with that next shopping trip! I really miss pizza on WW. With only 23 points per day, I can't justify pizza. Looking forward to seeing your cheesy broccoli Puff recipe!
Alicia, this looks SO delicious, something to make for a Sunday dinner or for a guest. I will definitely be making this! I had to chuckle when you were cutting the bacon, it reminded me of a restaurant experience we had. We like our bacon crispy, like you do. We were at this restaurant for breakfast & ordered bacon & when the waitress brought it, it looked terrible & kind of raw. So we told her we’d like it crispy. She took it & when brought it back, she just about threw the plates at us & said “here’s your bacon, crisp & dry” in a very disgusted way. We were flabbergasted, but looking back it was funny. Maybe you had to be there but it’s given us a few laughs.
I would love to see you try to make a asian peanut butter chicken recipe with low points. I really miss that. Chicken isn't a free food on the 123 success plan that I'm on. Grilled chicken without skin is, I think, 3 points for 3 ozs.
Chicken is one of those foods that keeps going back and forth on whether it has points or not on the different WW plans. It is about time for another plan change for WW and I wouldn't be surprised if it goes back to having points! I will look into that recipe and see what I can come up with. Thanks for the request!
That looks delicious Alicia! We make Cheesey Potatoes (also known as Wedding Potatoes”) Depending on where you live they have a number of other names. Anyway, we’ve lightened up the cheesey potatoes pretty well. One of my sisters eats gluten free & the original recipe calls for Corn Flakes so we switched it to Corn Chex & they make a great topping. They’re crushed & mixed with melted margarine. It really makes a nice topping, although not as tasty as the crackers that you use. I’ll have make your recipe soon. We’ve got a couple of potlucks coming up & they’d make a great dish to pass. Thanks. PS I hope the smoke in your area has cleared & you’re feeling better.
I think I have had something similar to Wedding potatoes but it did have another name and I can't remember what it was. They were cheesy and had corn flakes and were delicious! I will have to ask my mom what she called them. This broccoli puff's original recipe is from her too and so good. Some of my favorite recipes come from my mom! Thanks, the smoke is better now, thankfully!! Hope you are having a great week!
@@AliciaLynnYT I’ve also heard them called Funeral Potatoes. We always make them for our extended families on Thanksgiving & Christmas & on Easter when it’s our immediate family (our 2 sons & their families) whichever group it is we always make two 13 x 9 pans of them. Several years ago Mike was carrying both pans in insulated bags as we were leaving for Christmas with my side of the family & he tripped going out the door. He had a gash on his head that needed stitches. When I called my youngest sister (she was hosting), after I told her what happened she asked if the potatoes survived!! I swear if we didn’t bring them, they wouldn’t let us in!! My grandkids love them too. I love it when I make something that everyone likes & looks forward to us bringing.
forgive me if the vid already answered this but does the dehydration setting affect general air frying? Is it possible y'all could make a vid on just the dehydration settings & dehydration functions for this specific air fryer? I have this same one but purchased from the pawn shop so it didn't have the manual with it. Please & thank you
Hi, unfortunately I no longer have this air fryer, I gave it to my daughter. But, you can find a user manual for this online if you google it and that should help you. I hope you enjoy it, we loved it!
@@AliciaLynnYT ok thanks & yea i know i'll look up that manual vids are just more clear & nice to have another person sharing it as well 🙂 y'all did great with this vid
Thank you so much for this recipe and video! I have loved Alyssa's for years and tried a few other copycat recipes that didn't taste similar. I cant wait to try this one!
Happy Sunday to you Alicia. Kitty so cute, she probably missed you while you were on your grocery run. Anyway, yep I remember the breakfast one because I use my Bogo English Muffins, delicious. As always, there's must tries. Deviled egg macaroni salad is the best combination ever!😋 Yes, in regard to Halloween stuff, Walmart has every Halloween decoration you can imagine already. Thank you Alicia💝Enjoy your day!!
Good morning, Linda! Ruby probably did miss me while I was gone, she is all about attention and affection now that she has decided she likes us😄 I haven't been to Walmart in a bit but that is crazy they already have all of that stuff out! Happy Sunday to you, sweet friend!💗
@@AliciaLynnYT Thx, Alicia. I wondered what her name was. You got her while I was in Orlando, probably why I didn't catch it. I know she is loving her new home!!😻
Her name is Ruby but I am always calling her other "pet" names like I think I did in the video😄I do the same thing with the dogs, it's amazing any of them know their actual names😂
Alicia, you’ve got a great haul & your menu sounds amazing. I’ve seen the English Muffin casserole before but I haven’t tried it yet. It looks really delicious & I’m looking forward to trying some of your other recipes too. Thanks!
