I made my block on Friday and it looked more difficult than it was. I can't wait to have this quilt done. I am making it for my bed. Love your channel Kelly. Keep up the good work.
I’m sure you’ve mentioned it before but I can’t remember. Are you using Shoreline? Did you order the kit from FQS? I really want to do the pattern but have to finish up some WIPs before I dive into another project!
It is Shoreline, but I bought a 1/2 yd bundle and I am using it for both the Piece and Quilt Sampler and the Pieceful Baskets. I ran out of the white on white dot and am just using bella solid 97. Hope that helps!
@@pickinstitches thank you, I have a fat quarter bundle and a couple layer cakes! I might grab another bundle. I’ll have to take a closer look at the pattern!
I had to make my square this morning and I could not wait on you and your tips. I always want to do it your way and I can not think of the cuts as you do. I still watched your video and loved it.
I like your tray that you use to hold your blocks or pieces. How did you make those trays? Flannel on the inside and binding on the outside. I would love to know how you acquired those.
Cute block. Glad to see you don't use many pins either. I tend to not use pins, if I don't have too, with my piecing. I am enjoying your channel and love all your teaching and unboxings. Thank you Kelly.
What is the name and size of the beautiful quilt behind you that you made your son. It is beautiful. Can I get the measurements of patches and size of quilt please. I really want to make it in kaffee fabric
I too recently subscribed to Open Gate so I can get some smaller projects to help expand my knowledge of quilting (I’m self taught). I do enjoy watching your videos. Thanks for showing I’m not the only one who uses a seam ripper!
I just received my first Open Date box, too. I was pleased with the tablerunner pattern and fabric, but not so pleased with a pre-printed apron. Not too sure the box was worth the expense. We'll see what next month's or two months' boxes look like before I determine if I want to continue. Thanks for the quick tablerunner tutorial.
You made it look so manageable. Which helps to give me a mindset that I can handle a project like this it turned out beautiful. You did an awesome job. I love watching your videos.😊
Aww thanks! I think its still availbe at a couple vendors! Wall hanging is one I made it several years ago, before I was filming for RU-vid. Here is the pattern.
