There's a technique that I followed to improve and it's repeatative practice of the MCQ section. Practice a test more than 3 times in different timings. Don't check answers. Once you are done a minimum of three times then check answers and try to compare the mistakes that you have made first and the last test. Significantly you will notice that the last test is more likely to carry more scores than the first one. Now when you compare where you missed or made a mistake in the first or second test, you will be able to find out where to improve and be a little attentive. Always concentrate on coherence like though, although, apart from, consequently, likely, unlikely and many more where the speakers emphasize and try to understand the voice modulation which is the most important. Always remember amongst 3 MCQ's two are not the answeres instead those are traps, answeres will definitely be uttered. You have to be a little more attentive here to understand the best possible answer. And when you are listening to a certain pitch don't move your attention to the later or former questions. It will distract your mind. I also faced the same situation and believe me I gradually improved. Practice a test for 3 times will definitely be helpful to understand where you actually miss the points and choose wrong answers. Try to analyse, it's important. Comparision is equally significant. Compare your task multiple times. You will see the miracles after a constant practice for a month this way. Once you understand where you actually are making mistakes, so from the next test it will be unlikely to repeat the same mistakes. There are a number of ways to improve listening tests but I felt to share my technique if it can help a little to improve others . Wish you all the best 👍
