- NN is a power electronics/death industrial/harsh noise project created in 2001. - The original NN channel was around for almost 9 years. - It had over 1,000 uploads and almost 2,000 subscribers before it was erased in a mass censorship sweep. - The purpose of the other bands/artists on this channel is to catalogue, share & archive music from the 80's underground cassette culture along with other time periods, a historical document if you will. Many of these artists were an inspiration to myself & my projects. The main genres you will find here are power electronics, death industrial, noise & harsh noise and obscure experimental music, along with the random goth/synth tracks.
- NN is not affiliated with any political ideology or movement.
- The channel as of late has only been uploading NN & side projects.
@@JackMoorings At the point of making this album back in 2009, I hadn't even heard much EN or Throbbing Gristle. I was however a casual Psychic TV fan. My inspirations at the time came mostly from international harsh noise projects such as Black Leather Jesus, Skin Crime, Gerogerigegege, Incapacitants, a long with noisegrind stuff. I was also influenced by a lot of modern acts (or modern at the time of 2009 anyway) at the time but there's too many to mention. Later on after 2009, I gained more inspiration from projects like Premature Ejaculation, Atrax Morgue, Madame Chao, BDN, Subklinik and tons of old musique conctrete & obscure death industrial & power electronics projects long forgotten. This is when I began using vocals, making more brooding & cold "noise" (aka death industrial) and really got into looped noises. I also started to experiment more with "ritual industrial" because of bands like Vox Populi!, Fatal Impact, Sleep Chamber, Korpses Katatonik, etc..etc.. So while a lot of people find that stuff like TG & EN were their introduction to noise & industrial music, I guess I came into it from a different angle or scene. I was very much a headbanger in my teen years, especially grindcore & punk, which eventually lead me to noisegrind & subsequently industrial noise. But I have since heard the aforementioned bands of course & recognize their immense influence & raw talent. I've actually never heard of Chu Ishikawa, so I'll have to check that out! Thanks for asking though, im always down to share how my journey into extreme music began. Cheers!
Sweet! I think I will do a re-release at some point here soon. Unless I find another label interested. Maybe add some bonus material to it as well. Thanks & hails!
It was actually meant to say "this track is the audio form of a dxm trip" but I left out the word "of". Lol So its suppose to mean that this song is the audio form of what a DXM trip feels like.
@@NOISECAUSEDCANCER I'll keep the old version around & maybe put it on some kind of BP compilation or rarities album at some point. Im running low on blank tapes at the moment & felt the need to re-make this EP into something more chaotic & harsh.
@@alexbrito6116 Most Hex Kom releases were super limited & sold out. But you can find some full length albums & demos uploaded on here, on the Junkie And Proud YT channel or on the p2p program called Soulseek. Thanks for the interest!
