A typical Santa Cruz resident, Breeze (Fabricio Olsson) wears many hats (gymnastics coach, graphic designer, environmentalist, dog-sitter, videographer, clown, teacher, dancer). This channel is intended as a audio-visual representation of the many facets of this Jack of all Traits & Master of None (well... except of Digital Arts and New Media).
1936 Olympic footage. I realize this was uploaded nearly 20 years ago, but hopefully whomever originally created this account still has access and can perhaps change the title and description?
Is it only me, that I have a feeling those pictures are choosen with a sexual reference??? I dont have this looking at modern gymnastics, where it looks like normal sport.
It took me a minute to find this, but I have been excited to see GA United since I heard about it this past summer. Also, enjoyed NIU v. Illinois from a couple of weeks ago. Keep it coming as GYMAct is the future of Men’s Gymnastics in America.
I sure do remember that rehearsal and the show we did ..... and MISS being and doing with my NSPlayers friends!! Hgz n Lvz and Stay Home and Stay Safe and Stay Well!!!
Rhiannon i s truly a force of nature. such fierce brave conviction, musicality, and true presence! what a gift! i was blessed to take a weekend workshop with her in santa fe many years ago, and it was life-changing!
Breeze, that works great! I also use the bucket which is a little easier for the younger guys who do not have the core and upper body strength yet to maneuver around the horse. Now to build one of those bucks...
Paul Goedecke, we have and use the bucket quite often too. I like how easy it is for the little ones to feel successful, tho the bucket allows for many careless habits too. For example, the impossible lean shoulder in the same direction as their feet trick! Ugh!
Thanks, Ryan. I've told my boys about my career as an international athlete was always a bit bumpy because of the seasons being offset from one another; kind of like them competing at "eye opener" meet first meet of the season and THAT'S national championships for me in Brazil! haha... never my strongest meet. Yet, in 1997 it was good enough to put me at the top of the stands and join my father as part of an illustrious gymnastic history. Two national champs in one family. Nice stuff indeed. ;)
Unfortunately no. I do have another 9 or so hours of footage, but this is the earliest one. I was a work before then and only at this time turned on the TV and pressed record. I knew it was something that needed to be archived.
