1 banger Destiny video every month The goal of this channel is to create high quality videos about the only game I ever play, Destiny 2. I started this channel way back in the day because I wanted to share my PvP clips, but eventually it evolved into a place where I could tell stories, share insight and tips about the game, and engage with the community. One of the defining values of this channel has always been to prioritize quality, and therefore I only post once a month. The videos that appear here usually take hundreds of hours to make. If you're looking for more than a single Shadow video per month, I encourage you to go subscribe to my 2nd and 3rd channels, which also cover Destiny 2 with more frequent uploads!

I know this video is two years old. But I sold my ps4 in 2020. I bought a new Xbox to play with work friends just last week. While I am rusty, I was so excited to play d2 at 105 FOV. I was struggling to land shots. I thought the whole feel of destiny changed in my absence. After switching to 85 fov the crucible just got at least 2x easier and more fun
Destiny 2 is a game that i was offered for free multiple times and ignored every time. It was a good decision, every time. Also comparing to other mmo's/etc...Destiny is far, far below Warframe, and always will be.
I’m about to get devious with that nova warp one in the beginning, and then leave after I stop it to do it again (probably patched but still gonna try)
@@ShadowDestiny man that's unfortunate. When I started playing the campaigns and expansions made sense. As the expansions came out the story continued which made me want to buy the expansions to find out what happens next. I only stopped playing after I finished all the raids in forsaken because of life stuff. Would love to play through the game again to experience the story all over but it sounds like that's not possible. The addition of infusion cores crushed my morale tho lol btw: earned a sub. Great vid 👌
destiny is like learning a new language low key. but as a destiny vet I more or less agree with you. I feel you were a little lenient, maybe its just because of where you finished your play time. I hope you do a follow up if he puts on a couple hundred hours. I fell as though less and less gets explained to you as you play, and more and more you need outside sources like yourself and datto. it sucks to say but for new players to get the most enjoyment and fulfillment out of the game, they will almost need a guide to explain things to them while they play, especially anything lore related. i know I've had to ask many people within the community, and watch videos on RU-vid to actually understand the lore presented to me.
the quick fang sword you were using is lightweight frame. Passively grants +20 Mobility, and 6.25% Forward Movement Speed Bonus. looks like the golden gun only killed 2 people. the rest was by its ignite/explode. yes, it went though more than 1 person, but not infinite
1:38:44 man didnt even mention it also got wall hacks for doing literally nothing lmao So it had 3 things that they had issues with in the past on it lol It had a busted hitbox and aim assist (sleeper had that until they nerfed it) It had 1 shot bodys (alot of stuff had that) And wall hacks (OEM had that before it was changed)
Played d1 for years got all dlc because of the online friends I made on that journey played everyday for hours enjoyed playing with my friends doing raids and going flawless with them but with d2 and 200$+ dlc is not worth it they become greedy people 2/3 dlc worth 20 dollars is ok but 200$+ is just absurd
I finally understood the feeling I have now when I played destiny 2 with my bf since 3 weeks ago; the feeling of scrambled storylines, UI, quests, tutorials tips the game gave, and the pressing G to finish an enemy. Not knowing that I can merge weapons together I ended up dismantle all of my weapons and armour pieces and I now regret doing that. Also as a new player in destiny 2, I understood nothing that the game have tell me, and it does sucks because my bf has been talking about the game, but I couldn’t join at all because it was so disoriented and complex. And another thing, jump to leave the mount. That’s really annoying imo because in a game where vehicles are not wheel and it gave off like this vehicle can jump, I always press the jump button thinking it’d do the same but it doesn’t, and before you know it there goes 15s of you needing to run to the mount and hop back in only to jump back out again 😅 I told my bf that destiny 2 to me, is another game where I run do quests and start shooting things. I’m just so out of the loop of the story that my brain stop registering any story summary it gave me, because that means nothing due to me not knowing all of the characters mentioned in the cutscene
Part of me planned to play D2 one day, once all the refinements and story was in. It never occurred to me that they'd have changed progression dramatically and even removed whole chunks of story.
As someone who played almost every day until Forsaken who tried returning this week ... Bungie should be happy that I'm committed to try and give it a best shot. Gameplay feels better than it ever did in my old D2 experience but DAM ... it's tough to keep track of stuff. Why does the game force me into missions of expansions I don't have first thing as I log in?!
I stopped playing before the first expansion. I thought about getting back into the game around the second expansion but was so lost I never bothered. I mean I was also partly scared from the blizzard launcher completely fucking my install and having to re-download the game from scratch in a launcher that gave no UX indication of download progress.
27:10 yeah same, i was guardian rank 2 for absolutely ages (like 40h of playtime lmao) and only recently leveled up to 5 (doing vendor challenges for rank 6 sucks please change those if ur reasing this bungie, but who am i kidding, they dont fix bugs breaking the new player experience, why would they care about annoying lengthy quests... )
the open mic is really bad yeah, my gf streams occasionally and plays with people online, but she never talks, to anyone (except me lmao) so open mic could have been crazy for her if i didnt tell her "yeah, your mic is on btw" when we first played together after she got a headset...
20:30 this, i saw that i had aquired it and that it was a vehicle but i literally had to google how to spawn it because the game explained nothing about it
Nice video brother, I also have been having this issue when it comes to what to purchase when it comes to DLC. I am not new but I have not played in years. Like 4 and a half years right after forsaken got into gambit for a little while and stop playing due to clan issues to be honest. I never really had no other reasons to not play the game but the clan that I was in for the time was so good but when everybody feel out it got hectic to play and lets not talk about doing a raid. So I am looking to get back into it fully hard core like I was years ago. I really miss the game and I am enjoying everything that is going on now. I have already made a mistake by buying new light and not getting the NL-AP bundle. But I am cool with it. I want to know what do I need to purchase now going into this new DLC in June. I am also looking to get back into a clan but not until I learn everything that I need to learn again so that I can be an addition to the team and not a hindrance. What should I buy as far as mission base game play and what is needed if I am thinking about getting back into a clan or just making my own? Again great video buddy keep this up please.
My stages were… 1-9. Falling to my death 10. Switching to a Hunter main. All the respect for you people that can actually succeed on any jumping puzzle with a Warlock rofl
How tf is "the ghost shell looks like the Witness" a myth? It is literally modeled after the witness, there's no myth about it. Ad a matter of fact, heaps of these srent even myths and you've just considered them "myths" for yhe sake of reaching 500. They're just things you've been told that you decided to check out for yourself.
It's kinda wild how most the things that aren't explained were at one point a really big deal. Like infusion, guardian lvls, or finishers. I feel like most vets know of these because they were there when added. They didn't need a pop up because they followed the news. or there was at one point something that explains the "new" mechanics but was removed when those dlc's stopped being relevant.
How Tf do people no realize vehicle have more then one button??? It this a PC thing??? When ever I get in a new vehicle I push all the main buttons on the controller to see what they do. All soup had to do was push the left trigger...
