I have the older “lone wolf” stand. The original seat was very uncomfortable. I switched it out to a summit seat now i can sit in it all day. Other than the seat I love the design, the pack ability and the overall construction. The best stand I’ve ever had. Used to own a summit till it started making a squeaking sound, have no idea where it was coming from. I’ve climbed sycamore trees with my lone wolf. Never had a problem with it slipping.
I bought mine although not from you guys I'm excited about it and look forward to trying it out . Got it from sheels outdoors . It came with safety harness
these stands along with lonewolf stands take some getting used to. when your used to them they climb much much nicer than a summit. my first treestand was a summit until I slid down 4ft down a tree in the late season as I was climbing. luckily I was only 15ft up when it happened.
From their website - "To do this we teamed up with Andrae D’Acquisto, founder of Lone Wolf Hunting Products and the sole creator of the cast aluminum treestand. Through this partnership with Andrae and his son, Cody, Xtreme Outdoor Products was created.".. So basically you are saying he ripped of himself... Pure genius..
Pure genius you are... "To do this we teamed up with Andrae D’Acquisto, founder of Lone Wolf Hunting Products and the sole creator of the cast aluminum treestand. Through this partnership with Andrae and his son, Cody, Xtreme Outdoor Products was created.".. So he ripped himself off.. Brilliant.
A lot of companies do a crappy cheaper version of the good stuff. Mossberg to Maverick GMC to Chevy. Corner the markets but I'll still take my Lone Wolf any day
The latch to secure and lock in the strap on the original Lone Wolf, its very easy and simple to make adjustments when you're up 15ft in the tree, can you do the same with this one as well? I was looking at this stand at my local hunting show exhibit, and really loved it a lot
skankhunt42 Well, having never used a climber before I’d rather know all there is to know about it before using it. Maybe if you don’t have anything positive to say or intellectual to pass on don’t comment. Don’t worry I figured it out.
*THIS IS THE ONE!!!!>>>**t.co/0op9ai6N3L** Amazing stand that easy to use for a first timer and far more comfortable then the hang on tree stand I was using. This thing is like sitting in a recliner, just be aware it easy to all asleep in it. Great product!!!*
This tree stand is flimsy, it takes forever to pack out and get on the tree and climb. When you're in the tree you have to be careful the seat doesn't fall off the tree. It is light though and quiet. I would not put a kid or new hunter in this stand its an accident waiting to happen.
I love my summit open shot and original cobra, much sturdier they are a bit heavier especially the cobra its steel. Pack out is quick and going up and down the tree is quick and quiet.
Skankhunt is right, there are side straps that have to be used in order to secure the seat to the tree, however they get in the way a bit when you're moving on the animal and do nothing during the climbing. I bought t hi is because its light and low profile but it's not worth the frustration in the field.
@@hondas2ooo you can't use an extra stap you need to use down force to hold it on the tree, there are straps for this once you get up the tree but it sucks bad when you're climbing a tree that is not straight, damn thing falls right off
