Does it slow down for cross traffic, like for a vehicle approaching from right or left and merging into your lane? I’m basically wondering if the car uses all the cameras for TACC and not just the front cameras.
Thanx for watching 👍🏻 Yes the car uses all 8 cameras while driving for collision avoidance and also slows down to let merging traffic into the lane, but in my opinion the car is a little bit too aggressive in not slowing down for merging traffic until the cars are really close.
Thanx for watching and for the Bluetooth suggestion. I doubt that it is the case though since my iPhone 15 Pro has Bluetooth 5.3 that has a theoretical range of 240 meters. Even though I’ve heard some people talk about Bluetooth issues with the iPhone 15 lineup I haven’t had Bluetooth range issues with other devices connected to it. I’m hoping this is just due to the EU regulations that will hopefully be more lenient in the future 🤞🏻
Hi Terrance, thanx for watching. It’s definitely not obvious what version of Tesla Model 3 I’m driving since the difference is so minor between the years. I’m driving a Tesla Model 3 from June 2021, that both has the Ultra Sonic Sensors and the LiDAR sensor.
@manfred7780 you are totally right, I confused radar with LiDAR, sorry about that. Tesla used radar sensors in the front bumper until late 2021, when they stopped putting those into the cars and started relying more on the cameras instead and Tesla Vision was born.
Getting the iphone 16 pro when it comes out. I’m using an iphone xs max, it’s soon 6 years old. It’s a bit long to keep a phone in my opinion due to software updates slowing it down and that phones actually do get better. Had to wait due to economic issues in university though. I’d say 4 years might be the golden standard nowadays, or at most 5 years. Not much point changing before 4 new generations have been released if there isn’t a huge change that truly changes something really major.
Thanx for watching 👍🏻 I agree, no need to upgrade every year and it totally depends on each and everyone’s needs how frequently they “need” to upgrade their phones, so many things it can depend on. Det kommer att bli jätte bra uppgradering för dig från iPhone Xs Max till iPhone 16 Pro 👍🏻
Ya iPhone 12 Pro is a really good phone and can definitely last a few more years, specially if you get the battery replaced. Faster battery drain is usually the first thing that plagues older phones.
A successful comparison video. I have tried all iPhones since iPhone 5. Last year I sold 14 pro and bought 12pro. There is not much difference except insignificant features. lighter and thinner and elegant
Nice video, I noticed that in traffic aware CC your car does not react to traffic speed signs, if you use CC without traffic awareness activated does the car then react and change speed according to maximum speed for that road
When activating cruise control on a Tesla it is always traffic-aware, there is no option to activate cruise control without it. It would surely be a great feature if the traffic-aware cruise control would react to speed signs and increase/decrease the speed accordingly.
Nice video! I was wondering.. when it’s in traffic aware cruise control..does it stop if someting would obstruct your route suddenly? Like a pedestrian or a biker getting in front of you from the right?
Thank you . Did you try to connect receiver with cable ? When i try, receiver shut down after 1 mn. + how do you control audio level in iphone? Thank you
Hi @voilamana, I always connected the receiver directly to my phone not with a cable. You can control the audio level of the receiver and transmitter via the screen of the receiver. If you want to listen to the audio on your phone with the receiver connected, you can connect headphones via bluetooth.
Hi, if you are getting too much noise in the recordings you might want to lower the Transmitter or Receiver Gain or even both. I’ve also noticed that the internal recording of the Transmitter has less noise than the recording transmitted to the Receiver.
would be more interesting to see what other cars see. maybe just get a friend to sit in another car, across from each other in a parking lot, at different angles. Video both what you see and what the other car sees.
Are you allowed to use FSD yet? It has gotten to the point there are very few errors or disengagements for me, just outside of Washington DC in Maryland. (Near the Francis Scott Key Bridge that just collapsed - I crossed with FSD hundreds of times).
I would love to try FSD out, but unfortunately as of now it is not available outside of the US. We only have Enhanced Autopilot here in Iceland that includes Automatic Lane Changes, Auto Park and Summon. Awesome to hear that FSD is working well for you 👍🏻
Hi, thanks for the video. I have one question for you. When I connect DJI Mic 1 to my Samsung phone via USB C and I want to play my recorded video (for my control) then the phone detects DJI mic as the headphones and I am not able to hear audio when video is playing. Are you able to help me whether this can be solved somehow? Thank you.
Hi @pohorachspetom, thanx for watching:) You can either disconnect the receiver from your phone or you can connect a Bluetooth headset to the phone and listen to your video that way.
Wow when I used my wireless headphones I was able to play video with audio when mic was plugged in USB C of the phone. Many thanks to you and your help🙂🙂.
@@TechPlover I have the setup for my motorcycle however most demonstrators go -12 on the transmitter and the receiver. -12 on transmitter is perfect cuz it's right by my mouth in the helmet, but the receiver is where I'm finding it most difficult to find the perfect gain.
Thanx for watching 👍🏻 Both the transmitter and receiver should have some charge out of the box, so you can use them right away without charging them first. If you want the full operation time before you use them for the first time you definitely have to charge them since they will not have 100% charge out of the box.
Thank you for this thorough, informative and well produced comparison that answered every question I had about those two phones. It confirms that the image quality of the iPhone 12 series still holds up to the latest from Apple for all practical purposes; the only times you see any difference is in extreme lighting situations where the images/videos produced by the 12 Pro are worse quality than those produced by the 15 Pro, but both are equally unusable anyway (e.g. the ghostly image that the 15 Pro produces in the dark is as useless as the pitch black picture the 12 Pro produces in the same conditions). For 99% of the situations the average person takes pics/vids in, the camera quality of these two phones is comparable. The only (camera-related) reason I can think of that would make someone pick the 15 Pro is if they wanted to use the new camera features (rack focus, etc.) that don't exist on the 12 Pro. Again, thanks for the brilliant comparison; liked and subbed!
@sammy3514 Thanx for watching and subscribing 👍🏻 I agree, for the average consumer the iPhone 12 Pro is very good, taking great photos and videos in well lit environments. For prosumers I think the iPhone 15 Pro offers features that can come in handy, such as better low light capabilities and definitely recording in Apple ProRes to an external storage 😊
