Hi, excellent video! I have the amicus and there's an issue I can't fix and I I'm struggling to find information about it so I'll try to ask you, maybe you can help me. The problem is that the amicus... just doesn't hit hard enough! I mean, it does if you setup no spin, but as you increase the spin, the ball loses power. That makes it rather impossible to have a natural topspin shot, because it can be either too slow slow or too flat. In other words you cannot have high spin and speed at the same time. I was wondering if my device is not working correctly or if that's just it. Did you notice the same behaviour? Thanks a million for your help
@@ClaudioCicolin i havent noticed that issue. The Amicus i use at PingPod, when increased with spin (+1) and speed (16). With 60 ball per minute. Anything over those numbers, is already too fast or spinny for me for drills. Im a usatt (1900) player. Though i agree theres a limit to what the Amicus is capable of, but in terms of drills, with spin and speed. Its already very good. I hope this helps
This is based only experience and no scientific measurement. I would say Tenergy has more spin and speed. Though up to this day, I still use and prefer my Gewo Nexxus El pro series.
Hey, yes i tried it on the forehand side. Im no expert at equipment test so its just based on my experience 🙏🏼 It is faster catapult than fastarc when i open up loop or countertopspin. I dont need big swing to lift. Though sometimes it feels muted on short game but maybe thats just me. I currently use superselect 48degrees on my forehand so maybe the difference is big for me. I play 3hrs a week, since i got it January. And i say rubber is still good condition. If you prefer hard rubbers. This is hard, but not as hard or heavy like Tenergy (hard) Its like in between tenergy (hard) and fastarc. I hope i make sense 😅
Hey @pimrubs i did try the 53 on forehand side. What i like about the 53 on Fh is it has a lot gears. Esp during short game and touch. When i want to add power it can be super fast. But my technique or swing doesnt match yet with a really hard rubber like the 53. It generates a lot of spin and the catapult of 53 is amazing. But Right now my FH is superselect 48 and my backhand is el pro hard 50. And the 48 is just easier for me during practice and games. Hope that helps!
