Did they have the 70s vintage slim white plastic Mac Spoons? They were used to stir ones coffee. Hippies made them extremely infamous. I always get the beef stroganoff or a steak when I’m there, but that chicken piccata looks incredible! I’m ordering that next time. You’ve gotta try to go when they have a live band playing. It’s so much fun!

Absolutely nothing like smaller hometown carnivals & fairs. It's totally fun for everyone. Being of German heritage, I gravitate towards the Schnitzel, Wurst und Kraut tent. 🤠🇺🇸
Great video. Even though I really liked Susies meal, I'd have to order what Tony had. It's just me, but for dinner, it's beef or fish. The next day for lunch I'd order exactly what Susie had. I looked at the menu online. Wow! Great menu and good prices too. 🤠🇺🇸

And to be open since 1946 and like you’re saying, the prices are so reasonable and it’s in Hollywood is nuts if you ever get out that way to Hollywood now you have two restaurants you need to try. I love Duran Duran. My fav member is Nick Rhodes. I got to see them in the 80's at the Inglewood Forum. Two of my friends and I had front row, middle seats. That cost a lot of money but it was worth it!
My first favorite artist was Johnny Cash when I was in 4th grade. It was my turn to sing a song in front of the class. It was a strict private Christian school. Our teacher said, "Okay Edward it's your turn." So unbeknownst to the teacher or the class I belted out these few words before I was collared by the teacher and brought to the principles office. My mom was called and I went home for the day. Kicked out of religious school for these words...."Love is burning flame and it makes a fiery ring. Bound by wild desire..." Cut! That teacher grabbed me by the back of my arm and put an immediate stop to my concert. I didn't even make it to Folsom Prison Blues or The Rock Island Line. I made up for it the following years in public school. 😆🇺🇸

I would would’ve been that student cheering you on and would’ve wanted you to keep on singing and do that Folsom prison blues. 🤣🤣 I think I mentioned, I was born in Grand Rapids, but I grew up in Tennessee really close to the grand old Opry and in the early 1970s, one day we were at Opryland and out from the grand old Opry came Johnny Cash and Miss Dolly Parton and my dad was a tough man military man, but when he saw Mr. Cash and Miss Dolly, I saw a side of him that I’ve never seen before. He was Getty with excitement 🩵
@@TonyandSusie-MillersontheMove Thanks guys! The kids were dumbfounded. They had never heard anything like it. I'm glad my parents pulled me out of there and put me in a school I did well in. No issues until my senior year. I wore a Gene Simmons "Cod-Piece" on the outside of my football uniform while riding on our homecoming float! The team and cheerleaders all at hand cracking up. My parents weren't called but our principal now owned a almost unused Gene Simmons codpiece! 😆🇺🇸

Great video. I really respect restaurateurs who are pet friendly. If I'm ever near L.A. I'm going to make a pilgrimage to the "Tail of the Pup." I love the history of the place. A couple dogs with onions. Maybe I'd have to write a song...."I ate an onion dog about an hour ago. Then took a swish of Scope in a Hollywood bungalow." Lol. 🤠🇺🇸

I just yesterday spoke with an employee of the neighboring "Edgewater" Casino/Hotel (owned by the same company as Colorado Belle) and was told that it will be torn down and probably replace by a parking lot although personally, I don't see the need for one there (yes it is sinking and can't be saved economically -or maybe there is some tax advantage or something). If they get so busy that they need more parking, they might as well build another casino IMO. To that point, I was told by numerous employees that last weekend they were booked up full and all of the hotels across the river in Bullhead were sold out as well. No special date, just a regular weekend, so it is possible.

We go to Laughlin once in a while we live in northern Utah, and when we saw the Colorado Bell for the first time it had already closed during Covid so we really wish we could’ve seen that operating. I heard the Colorado Ball is sinking is one of reason for it's closing I go stay at the Tropicana right across the street a couple times a year and the word was it's sinking
I remember going there when I was nine years old. The adults liked it alot. I wanted to ride the Matterhorn Bobsleds, of course. Your video was the first time I've seen the tiki room since then. Miller's I couldn't tell ya how cool that show is. My teen grandson would not like it but I'd make him sit through it like I had to as a kid. This time I'd be the one enjoying the show. Then fifty years from now my grandson can go enjoy the show while his grandkids complain. 😂❤
Haha we feel the same way !!! We love Tiki room now so much. Get your pineapple dough whip out front of the tiki room and then you get to take it in and eat it and enjoy the show and sit and rest and cool down.!! But I do have to tell you that we also wrote the Matterhorn on this trip and I hadn’t wrote it in quite a while. It was scary, but it is still a blast our friend.🔥
I've always wondered about the restaurant. I float by and think Rrrrrrrrrr! No A-1 sauce on the tables! Blast! No Porterhouse. Lol. Thanks for the tour. It all looked very good. 🤠
