🩷U did good girl but when doing just roots doesnt matter as much where start unless doing whole head should start at nape and a newbie should do 20 volume dev especially if cant work fast enough applying!! But the Hair will turn yellow thats where the nice ole TONER comes in 🩶bleach will fry ur hair if u leave it long to get a platinum color thays risky btw✅little sessions to achieve a platinum is recommended just sayin to not damage rapidly or hair loss but takes patience to achieve a bright blonde sometimes not in one session and a deep condition mask after wards is appreciated for ur hair 🙏🏻📚✅🩷🚨🚨🚨 also measuring is very important bc scalp can burn if use too much i mean it may burn as it is sweet n low pink packets is a trick for that about one or two packets depending how much product is on ur bowl for bleach only not for toner havent tried i. that yet
I like the ion cream lightner. When I have used it, I always use a 20 volume. Less damaging to the hair. I'll also put four pumps of conditioner in the bowl and a little bit of argan oil. Then it's definitely less damaging. I also will never use a toner that has ammonia in it. Talk about drying the heck out of your hair. So yeah I'll never use any wella toner, or any type of permanent toner. If I tone, I use a toning gloss.
It contains AMMONIUM HYDROXIDE which is ammonia water making it the weakest form of ammonia and works great. You could use it and still add argan oil to it.
Thank you soooo much. After many disasters and going to the salon to fix it, you have taught me how to bleach my hair the right way. I got perfect results the first time with your instructions. I have used your method several times now and couldn't be happier. Bless you girl!
I personally think you do a WONDERFUL JOB for not being a professional. I think your hair turned out beautiful. And you made it very easy and simple to know what to do. Keep posting I’ll follow you. I think you’re fantastic. Thank you dear.! 👍👍👍
I am going to try this next weekend, I ordered all the products, my hair is now a light brownish color, my natural color, but I want my blonde back 😊 im gonna use the 30 developer as you did, fingers crossed 🤞 it turns out 😊 thanks for all the info, great video!
I know this video is old, but used Ion Bright Whitener & Wella t18 today on my hair today and it was a success!! I think you did a great job on the video, your hair looks great and you're so adorable. Thanks for sharing.
You didn’t say when to use step two of the color brilliance booster and kept repeating yourself way too much for somebody that has ADHD it was hard to follow. But overall it was a good video. 😊
Ion color booster is more of a moisturizing additive rather than a bonder like olaplex. It slows down the processing of the developer which is why is says to go up level on the developer. Professionals who are quicker at applying don’t really care for the booster, BUT for at home people who aren’t as fast, love it. Slower processing = less oopsies by over processing. (I get distracted by my phone, family walking by) . If you want a bonder like olaplex, use bond shot by one and only . That is more of a dupe than the ion color booster. I used boosters in EVERYTHING that I use developer in. I’m mildly allergic to developer so the boosters and scalp protector additives are amazing for me. I added in everything when I lost my mind one night and did 2 color removers and 3 bleach washes 😂😂 I still have all my hair and it feels great.
Oh God don't spread misinformation like that. Picture your hair cuticle as a pine tree. When warm it opens up, when cold it seals(which is why they say run fun colors under cold water to avoid as much bleeding as possible) and you should NEVER be put under a dryer!!! THIS IS A LAZY STYLIST HACK. They want to blow open your cuticle and process aka fry your hair faster so they can take another break or early lunch or sneak a haircut while your poor hair is being blown open under a hot dryer. You should NEVER do that.
I have a question I did the bleach two months ago my hair is orange but I did the box hair color bleach you get at the store. Can I used everything you used all over my hair?
No!! I recommend going to a salon, and probably someone who specializes in blonde so they can assess the damage. If you put more bleach over it you risk severely damaging ur hair to the point where it can break off!
Whats a good...volumer...I have very dark brown hair, thick and curly i have had my hair bleached and colored before, so my hair is damaged 😅 I dont really understand the volumer levels at all and how much ud put it in there
Honestly, I’m not sure! I have naturally lighter hair so a lower level developer works for me. At the end of the day it’s just chemicals so darker hair and diff hair texture requires different chemicals and treatment. I would imagine sturdier and more coarse/ curly hair would require more time while developing, but I’d ask your hair stylist. Best of luck❤️
After paying my stylist 200 dollars once again for roots that were not covered I told myself never again am I trusting someone else with my hair ! This video was awesome got straight to the point and I’ve already ordered all the products can’t wait to try this 😍😍
The bottom hair has been bleached before right? When you take a shower do you notice that your hair breaks off where the old bleach started at? Im asking because ive bleached my roots several times as it has grown and now i have way less hair than before. 😫😫 and as much as i want to kep bleachin my roots im scared that at the end im going to end up with short bou hair!! 😭😭😭
At the time this video was made, yes I had bleached all of my hair including the bottom! If you use bleach, heat, color or anything… your hair will break that’s natural. What you’re describing sounds like your hair is being double processed (still not a hair stylist so I’m not sure if that’s the correct term) but u can’t bleach the same hair multiple times. If you do, it breaks off! Bleaching your hair makes it very porous. When you bleach it your hair follicles open and are more vulnerable to damage. This is also why “banding” happens. My non professional recommendation is to use purple shampoo and toner ONLY on ur already treated hair, and bleach ONLY fresh growth hair. With the proper technique or stylist you can make it blend.
Great work on your hair! It looks professionally done, and it doesn’t look damaged at all. Thanks for mentioning that you had to go through a few iterations of orange hair to get your shade, because that’s what happens when a person goes from a medium/dark brown to a light blonde. It doesn’t turn blonde in one go.
I used this bleach today! It worked amazing!!! No yellow or brass. I also added shampoo to it and it worked amazing. I used t14 toner. Along with foils. Finished off with redken bleach recovery.
So BILLIONS of dollars spent on some of the BEST Powder Lighteners in the WORLD are totally stupid and agree that it’s totally “Sketch”. 🙄 You have GOT to delete this because you are leading a lot of people down the really WRONG road…..
I get what Emma is saying. Powders are difficult to use for home use if you’re not a professional. Powders do work because that’s what they use in the salons, BUT if you don’t really know what you’re doing or you do one thing wrong (the right measurements, tools, and developers), then powders become “sketch”. The crème is easier to work with if you’re a “kitchen beautician”, like a lot of us who are watching RU-vid videos are.
this just gave me confidence to bleach my natural dirty blonde hair myself. I can't keep spending 200 at the salon and leaving with roots every time I just can't. I believe in myself now 😌
It’s different for everyone’s hair! I left it on until my hair appeared to be 1-2 shades lighter than my other hair, and then left the toner on until it appeared to be done.
@@danimal2809 I did reply actually to the previous comment. Leave it on until your hair appears 1-2 shades lighter than the rest of your hair. I have naturally blonde/light brown hair so for me that’s probably 10-15 min but it just depends on your hair and what you’re working with. I have no licenses nor extensive knowledge in hair coloring. I just posted a video explaining what worked for me!
