If you visit Gothenburg during the winter Liseberg has an event called "Christmas at Liseberg Park" and its one of the coziest and magical places in all of sweden during that time in my opinion. They put up over 5 million christmas lights and coupled with the scandinavian darkness at the time it literally transforms into something straight out of a fantasy book :) Glad you enjoyed your stay, Liseberg is Gothenburgs pride and joy and almost everybody in sweden has atleast visited it once.
Hey! Such good vlogs about Gothenburg, hope you liked the best city in Sweden, and come back again! You guys should come now in the summer, many things to do, conserts, festivals and great outdoors activities. Keep up the good work you do guys! Awesome personalitys. ☺️👍🏼
went in to lidi and just got a £1.50 box. you have to look what is the cost of the reduced items as that is the price you would pay that if buying the items in the shop. so yes you look at the total of the reduced price not the full price all items have a shorter fridge life. the m&S is far too expensive. same items in aldi lidi for same thing for half the price. its not worth it.
Yes I think that’s fair and a more sensible way to look at it. I just know with the app they base the ‘value’ on the items at full price, which is why we included it like that. But we totally agree with you 👍
This is my city. When I was a teen I went to Liseberg almost everyday in the summer. We had our trix to find tickets to all the rides. A favorite was to take girls on the Flume ride with our tickets. But at that time arcade games was a big thing and they had so much more of it. The teens in and around Gothenburg hung out in Liseberg more than what teens do today. I don't think teens really hang out there any more like we did. I met my first big love at Liseberg.
Love Liseberg. Went there a few times as a kid in the 80s. Revisited last year. It has changed a lot but was also the same as I remember it. Beautiful park. Atmosphere used to be a gentle observation tower - no longer! Great fun. Great video.
Cations about timing: In the summer there is the worlds two biggest youth tournaments in Gothenburg. Partille Cup (handball) and Gothia Cup (football/soccer) You don’t want to plan go to Liseberg in those weeks. There is tens of thousands of youngsters all over town, an ALL of them will visit Liseberg.
@@CezandGaz Yes, but unfortunately, you don't always appreciate things you are too close to, but take it a little for granted... 🫣 But of course we have been there quite a bit when we were younger and especially since when the children were younger! 😍
4:25 that one is a really fun ride! That and Lisebergbanan are my favourites! Balder was also a really fun one. I was in the front on my Felix ride and it was meh, I would likely have enjoyed it more in the back. I was also alone on the Felix so it was probably a big reason why it felt "meh" as well.
We loved lisebergsbanan but we forgot to record it 🥲 I think our favourite was either helix or Valkyrie. Kallerado was also really good just because of how funny it was seeing everyone get soaked 💦
@@CezandGaz yea at first anyways! First years we got free-pass to all rides everyday if we wanted, but usually you weren’t that eager to go there a workday. But used it a couple of days every season. Free entrees of course. Then at start we got like 100 rides and a bunch of entrees for family and friends. But after a few years it was smaller to give away. But still great perks in the park too like discounts etc. fun parties. But yea lol it was a while ago so probably changed a bit 😅
Haven't been on any rides since Balder was new 😂. Must be around 20 years or so. I've been in tge park many times though, Liseberg are actually very good at booking cool artist and all it cost is the entrance fee.
@@CezandGaz I live here and have for the last 39 years so the pull it once had have kinda evaporated over the years. I still visit the park for other things though, like the autumn and winter market, and for music & beer. Maybe I will try out Helix and Valkyria when I'm there the next time.
still can't believe I still haven't gone to fat pats and hip hop chip shop! been on the list for ages. You have convinced me to go asap. love the vid guys 😁
Oh my god Fat Pats looks incredible! Hip Hop Chip Shop also sounds like a bit of me 😋 Great video guys I will be definitely be hitting a few of these next time I am MCR 🐝!
Haven't been to Liseberg in many many years, wasn't even aware of 3 rides on this video. Should maybe visit it this summer. I think 1 ride disappears everytime they build a new one so only a limited time to try them all.
No Lisebergsbanan? It's the most iconic one there and the creator of it said it's his favourite roller coaster he made. For me, it's almost always the first one I ride. The view is spectacular!
We actually did just at the very end, and there was no queue so we hopped straight in without recording 😢 we really enjoyed that too and we went at night so was a very unique experience!
Liseberg is my favourite over all ( if you don’t count Disney and all of them) I live in Sweden but I live closer to tivoli in kopenhagen but we drive every summer to Liseberg. I love it ❤
For the rest of the daikon, you could cut it into small cubes - a medium dice - then do a quick pickle. I've gotten it with Korean fried chicken at restaurants as a classic accompaniment. It's cool and crisp and sweet, and really surprisingly nice. I don't know the recipe, but I'm betting it's a rice vinegar and sugar combo - I'm sure there are recipes online.
