nice power station but i build my own with 20A breaker fast chage 30A solar charger 12 way fused blook water proof tool box 1500 watts inverter etc waterproof
I'm erring towards the Luba, all due to how sexy it looks plus its climbing ability which I don't need. However The Dreame A1 with LIDAR also looks interesting, and I ahve a Dreame robo vac that is more than awesome. Plus LIDAR doesn't need an antenna ... Lots more research to do ... but I am pretty sold on the Luba?/Dreame?
Thanks for the review.I'm now retired, and for some 23 years, I was the top sales rep in my country T&T in the Caribbean. I, without prejudice, endorse Makita tools. I do love that cutter and will try to get one.
I was going to buy one as an upgrade on my previous version, I wanted a bluetooth connection from my phone for toons. However due to the fact they have dropped the battery charge function is a deal breaker for me. Just going to buy a bluetooth adaptor.
I purchase a Robomow RC 306 model for my home in Texas when they first arrived on the market. It’s been in operation for 8 years now. I have replaced the battery once and have not had any issues with it. If anyone knows, Texas gets hot! Also Saint Augustine grass is thick and tough. This mower does a great job and I simply have no reason to replace it because it won’t break.
I don't know WHAT to think of this saw; because I haven't seen it run in a head to head comparison with other saws. The closest EGO would be the CS1804. It wouldn't be fair to pit the Dewalt against EGO's 20" saws; they would just embarrass the Dewalt
Very helpful! Better than anything Segway offers for setting up the mower. We had this thing boxed up and ready to send it back, but then I decided I needed to give it one more shot . Your video was just what I needed.
The Goat G1 is junk. The controlling app is pre-beta. The mapping function is painful beyond belief. The radio signal concept just needs to go away because it is too hard to configure for any lawn close to 1600m2. A good RTK base station is 10x better. My Goat gets lost ALL THE TIME. I had to stake boundaries to keep it from wandering off. The mowing paths can be wavy. The front casters become glitchy over time and the mower will hang up somewhere on the lawn. It will mow but requires regular oversight to see where it has trapped itself. The mowing method is not very efficient because it moves around the lawn to catch up on spots it missed in an absent-minded way. It leaves stripes. Buy a Luba instead.
I like your reviews but sometimes they feel more like a product presentation than a review. The main issue that many people have with robot lawnmowers are situations when robot is turning next to a curb/on an incline, small ditches, holes in the lawn, wet soil after rains, how it handles driving over apples, cones, big inclines. I would really like to see some part of your garden dedicated to testing them in the more challenging conditions.
Thanks for the feedback! I'm really glad to hear that you like my videos! 😊🙌🏼 I can understand that. For many people entering the robotic mower segment, the lawn doesn't look like this. That was also the case for me at the beginning. But since I've been testing robotic mowers for several years now, my lawn has constantly evolved. I've gradually eliminated bumps and small holes where the machines used to get stuck. I can only advise everyone to do this, because otherwise you end up with more work, as the robot is constantly getting stuck. The robots are also mainly intended for well-kept lawns. If you're looking for a robot that doesn't care about all that, then always choose the LUBA! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-C-e99c83dT8.html This thing doesn't get stuck! :D Best regards
I have the loop handle version: it's awesome. Light, well balanced (with 2 * 5mAh batteries), silent and, nonetheless, powerful. I cut a lot of dwarf bamboo with just the trimmer wire, now I have the metal blade always on and cut everything, except for wooden trees (when they are still green it's not a problem) and it struggles a bit with wooden bushes.
@Mr_Yod Thanks for the feedback and for sharing your experience! 😊👍🏼 Yes, I can only agree with you. This thing really has brute power. With the metal blade, you can of course get through everywhere even better. 💪🏼 Best regards and thanks for supporting my channel
@josephKEOarthur Yes....I have to admit, I thought the same thing at the beginning! In my opinion, it would also have been much more practical to put the batteries inside 👍🏼 There was probably just not enough space...🤷🏻♂️
@billfrench9801 Hello, thanks for sharing your opinion on the voice of the speaker! I can't imagine it's that bad 😆, but I'll take note of the constructive criticism. Best regards
I would probably pay a small premium to have the Navimow 108 unlocked with 1000m2 or even 1200m2 rather than the restrictive 800m2 which is just too small. I'm sure it would be capable. I like that the driving wheels are on the front and it has 2 small wheels at the back compared to the Yuka which pushes forward onto one small wheel. I also feel Segway parts will be easier to source.
@nickwilliams1953 Thank you for sharing your opinion and thoughts. I can understand that, although I am also more than satisfied with the Yuka so far. It's also a very good device, where you can even extend the battery afterwards 😊💪🏼 Best regards and thank you for supporting my channel
@pulokamuru9877 yes, this is definitely possible with this thermal imaging camera, but you probably have to get within a few meters of the animals to know them for sure. In this case, a hunting thermal imaging camera would be more suitable, as it has a built-in lens and can therefore also be used from a distance :) Best regards and thanks for supporting my channel
@pulokamuru9877 The range is limited to a few meters. You can photograph an entire house, for example. But since there is no lens, as with a hunting thermal imaging camera, the range is much shorter. In your case, I would probably recommend a hunting thermal imaging camera... Best regards
The Navimow firmware update allows you to take 1 larger zone. And split it up, and have the boundary lines over lap. Much better than before when you had to map out each zone and the boundaries could not touch.
@FJRyder Thank you very much for the tip and the experience! Yes, that's right. That makes the process of map creation and management much easier :) Have a nice weekend
Hi, do I understand well : at 21:02 the screenshot indicates that you can now plan specific task per zone on selected days ? Means it can mow zone 1 on Monday, zone 2 on wednesday etc ? thank you very much in advance if you can help me here.
@anthonyt9371 Hello, Yes, that's right! You can set the schedule individually for each zone. Zone 1 only on Wednesday and zone 2 on Thursday, for example. The same applies to the time 😊 Best regards and thanks for supporting my channel
@@TechIllusion-EN Perfect, thank you very much for your answer and the video ! Do you know if the 2000 square feet limit if for each zone or the total ?
@anthonyt9371 You're very welcome! I'm glad if I can help! 🙌🏼 The figure is in square meters. Converted, this is approx. 21 527.82083 ft² This figure refers to the total area that the robot can handle. The entire lawn should therefore not be larger than this :) Best regards
@@TechIllusion-EN Thank you very, yes 2000 square meters and not square feets my mistake sorry. But do you know if there is a hard software limit ? Or if we can have mapped areas that in total exceed 2000m2 ? I have different information here. Seems that some brands have strict limitation, some others not (just a recommendation).
@anthonyt9371 With pleasure! 😊 Yes, I would be careful here, as many manufacturers limit the maximum area size on the software side. I don't know exactly whether this is the case with this device, as I hadn't exhausted the 2000m²...🤔 Unfortunately, I can't help for the time being. Best regards
Thanks for this English based instruction, although I wish the shown screen based controls were also in English. 2 comments: 1) Wouldn't the *_more general_* situation of GPS sensor placement have made it necessary to peg the cable of this sensor to the earth? i.e. the placement of the GPS sensor chosen next to the charging station would not be as typical as it being placed somewhere else in the lawn area where it's cable must be held down (pegged) so it doesn't interfere with the mowing process (navimower). 2) Even after watching the above instructional video, I' m unsure if a "connecting path" must be added to allow the mower to enter (the nearest map path) the charging station
@WordCarr-x4t Hello and thank you for the praise and advice! 😊👍🏼 1. yes, it is definitely advisable to anchor the cable to the ground so that the robot does not accidentally get caught and perhaps even cut it! I may have been a little indulgent. 2. a path to the station only needs to be created if it is outside the mowing zone! So that the robot knows how to get to the station! :) Best regards and thanks for supporting my channel
@John-cj3ve that would definitely be very interesting to see how the chainsaw performs with this large battery. 🤔 The only problem is that the battery is extremely expensive and also weighs a lot.... These are currently the largest batteries I own. Best regards
@TechIllusion-EN I used to run the biggest Stihl chainsaws in my younger years. Now I'm a hobbyist and have over a dozen battery operated chainsaws. I'm becoming more and more interested in THIS saw. I know it can't keep up with my EGO 20" saws; but their power comes with a weight penalty; and that's why I'm keen on this; and especially the Ryobi; as it appears to be the lightest 20" battery operated chainsaw on the market.
@John-cj3ve thanks for the reply! That sounds very interesting! :) I also think there are many powerful devices out there. It's just very convenient if it's also in the same ecosystem 👍🏼
@hughvines4585 yes, there is something to it. As mentioned in the video, the front apron of the robot is very low. This can cause the device to touch down on uneven surfaces. From practical experience, however, I can say that this fortunately only occurs relatively rarely and only on very uneven surfaces. So if you have a relatively even lawn that is only slightly uneven, this is not a problem. :) Best regards
2WD and front mini rollers? Bah! Gonna probably have similar traction and getting stuck problems to my old Landroids out here in the country, which is why I went over to a 4WD Luba. They never test these things outside of suburbia. Pass!
@johnvictor2451 Yes, there is something to it. At first glance, the two-wheel drive may seem a little inadequate. It definitely can't keep up with the Luba mentioned above, especially in terms of off-road capability. However, if you are realistic and look at the whole thing objectively, the 2WD drive is actually sufficient for most gardens. Only for those who have really large inclines or lots of bumps in the garden is the 4WD a must! No question :) Best regards
@thefireysoul is there a difference other than color in this case? 🤔 If this were not the case, I see no advantage over the turquoise version. Best regards
@TechIllusion-EN better in the sense that it performs equally or better but most importantly it's readily available cheaper 18v batteries not the expensive harder to find 40v batteries. The army green color is very cool too.
@vishal_00756 With pleasure! I'm glad you like the video. 😊👍🏼 Also thanks for sharing your thoughts and expectations about this robot! :-) Best regards

Can’t believe there’s a wireless robot mower that cheap on Kickstarter. Feels too good to be true, but their video made it look legit. Still can’t decide if I should go for it.
I checked the price and no joke, I’m blown away. It’s even cheaper than the wired ones! Their tests look solid, but I already own a mower, so I’m kinda stuck.
@LakshayChauhan-jd9hc Thanks for sharing your thoughts and expectations about this robot! 😉👍🏼 As long as you still have a robot that works perfectly, I wouldn't think about changing. Unless you are dissatisfied with the appliance or need a robot that can cover more area or cope with a steeper slope. Then I would think about an update.
