Oh, I like this guitar so much more! But how can I not like it when it is identical to mine, which I bought 5 months ago? Only mine has a black body. But my plying it is much more different :( .
Check both volumes controls....and one of the tones.. I think it's the upper one... Volumes are push / pull and split the coils....The tone is a phase This guitar can get so many different tones. I try to do as much playing and research as I can do on an instrument before doing a review. I just reviewed this guitar about a week before you posted this ... And I to believe it is a great guitar. This is not the Epiphone I remember from 15 to 20 years ago... They have stepped up their game.
hi there's this song in this youtube wondering if you can help identify it? video is 6 campfires by Canadian prepper. it released in 2020 and my suspicion is it's a royalty free from a video editor could be imovie
I bought the Tobacco Burst, I polished the top and sides, did a (minor) setup on it and it's now one of my favorite guitars. It sounds and plays as good (if not better) than any of my Gibson USA Les Pauls.
@JorgeSalasGuitar I've got a 2019 Gibson LP Traditional, a newer 2022 SG Standard and a 2016 Les Paul Classic. Along with an Epiphone Les Paul Adam Jones Custom and a Guild Polara Deuxe. Next purchase will be either a Les Paul Custom or an ES-335.
Thanks. I have an older 15 which has a line out . I wonder why they dropped it on older versions. Anyway ,I just did an outside gig before about three hundred audience and they miked it. I took a larger tube amp expecting that the Marshall mg15 would be way too small. But the sound guy miked it and was happy to run with it. Go figure ?! The current mixers and pa systems are so much better these days. I suppose if you do heavier rock /metal etc and bigger venues bigger amps are required. It does make you wonder though wether buying and lugging around 100 w are drawing to a close.
I like when the guitarists do a review playing some simple rock or metal stuff, because, let's be honest, majority of us that might buy this amp are playing simple riffs and chords in our bedroom for fun aswell.
Great review. I see that you are maxing out the master controls. How are you setting up the cab clone volume? Where do you set the output knob. Do you plug into an interface? When I try to recreate what you do I get a lot of noise and I can’t manipulate the signal chain such as boosting the amp or adding wet effects.
The Badlander has a cab clone built-in. In the back, there’s an output knob. What I like to do is drive the amp as hard as I can but make sure I’m not clipping going straight to my DAW with that output knob. I also believe at the time that I was plugged into a preamp-that always helps with gain staging. Hope this all helps and let me know if it works!
i couldn't think of a worse "carer" for peter greens "greeny" - Hammet has zero vibrato and no real blues awareness .....having said that - he has written some decent solos -even some great ones .....but i would have loved john mayer or bonnamassa to have it
Gotta agree with you. It’s funny because it was “Enter Sandman” as one of the songs that really got me to play! In the hands of JB, it would be insane!
I might have to get this one…I just did a review on the special I their cheaper model it was not all that great…especially trying to compete with the affordable market
@@JorgeSalasGuitar didn’t mean to sound like it was snarky. It’s just crazy that they are coming from the same factories but have a different degree….it makes you think that it’s cause Epiphone would want to push you to their $500 ish line. But there is proof that factory can put out a better sub $200 model.
Great video! There only like 3 videos on the Hadean EA-100 so not many, but yours I watched over and over again and finally pulled the trigger and bought one. I'm looking forward to playing it!
So glad to have helped. I made this video quite a while ago also not finding much on it! It’s a great guitar and I STILL have it! You’ll like it. Please update me when it arrives!
I just reviewed their cheapest LP it wasn’t QCd well and the retailer wanted me to pay shipping to send it back. I left a bad review then they offered free shipping.
Gotcha. How bad was the QC? Any guitar being the cheapest model is bound to have an issue, I guess it depends how BAD of an issue. Just my opinion. Now if it was done on a Gibson, then I would be disappointed!
@@JorgeSalasGuitar they drove a a screw in deep enough to crack the neck on the bolt on part. Not super deep but they wouldn’t take it back for another until I left a one star review, told them it was too late I already took a sander to it. I got it with reward points so it only cost $12 US for the differnce. And these other guitars coming out of china have less issues with Epiphone being bigger name(still Chinese) would think it be on the same level
Have you tried one? I have a Gibson Shred w a Floyd and it’s been my main lead guitar for years now. I’ll say this: the tone isn’t as good as having a set bridge. But I really like the expression you can do with the Floyd man… try one out!
A Plek setup on the frets would cure the issue of the uneven, scratchy feel on the Epi frets. I personally wouldn't consider purchasing an Epi 335 without getting a Plek from the dealer. (Before purchasing, check to see if the seller offers this service, as not all do.) Even at $300 for the Plek, setup, the Epi is still less than a third of the cost of a new Gibson ES-335.

I mean, I don't think it's a bad price for it. It just depends on what is "expensive" to some and/or if you are willing to invest or not. Doesn't mean you're right or wrong. Just what you find as valuable. But do your thing, man!
why? just why? the new model is out so this is just old information. in the title you need to let people know right away this is the old junk 2020 model not the new 2024.
@@What11235 Did I ever lie about the year of the instrument? Don't even think I mentioned it. Get the new one bro, by all means. Just having fun with this one atm.
hi great video !! , quick question. do all presets have to cut lows ot around 79 ? 4:02 i dont know much about the theory. about frequency cuting stuff . thanks :)
