It's a shame that the jetways seem to have crossed each other. Normally they would have one connected to 1L for First class and then 2L for everyone else.
Thanks buddy! Yes it is basically the same as the 78X with HD mod, just a bit less 'floaty' on the landing. I like it but am still getting used to it. Let me know what you think!
Yes I try to but have been a bit off and on recently as having trouble with the FBW A20N selected mode autopilot but I think I have cracked it now having changed the accessibility settings to 'Legacy' and can now use the controls a bit better!
Hey. Amateur MSFS pilot here. Few things to consider: - Setting the BARO minimums before landing and making sure the QNH it's correct - that will help you to take the decision height... the approach was a bit unstable and you were below glideslope few hundred feet before threshold - You had an ILS approach available, really appreciate that you did manual flying for all the approach, but it's best (especially in heavy winds like this) to hit LOC and the Approach to intercept the Glideslope and take manual controls of throttle and stick at 1000ft and maintain the speed and attitude (it will me easier) - Spoilers not armed -> you had a firm landing at almost 140kt, although you had Low BRK selected the spoilers won't deploy if they are not armed and that will result in a lag in terms of breaking - Try to maintain the vertical speed around 600-700 ft/minute during approach (using LS guiding ofc) and reduce it to 300 ish below 50 call, maintaining the nose up longer even after touchdown, the spoilers will help reducing speed fast and you can use reverse thrust, letting the plane manage airbrakes and wheel brakes Other things to consider, not so important: APU bleed it's not needed, APU should not be working at this stage of flight. Predictive windshield should be on, even if it's not enabled in FBW version. Happy flying. Nice video btw.
Thank you so much for such a detailed response, I can't tell you how much I appreciate it. I will work on these things and keep posting my terrible landings in the meantime!
@@chriscarter5972 Ye its fairly easy don't use manual throttle use autothrottle on the mcp change ur speed to ur VREF speed then descend after 200-100 feet keep an eye on the end of the runway to judge ur vertical speed and gently pull up.
you want to land in the middle , instead of too thr right. it is not a car. and do you lower your altitude by engine power reduction. or steering it too a lower level, without reducing speed ?
Thanks for the comment buddy. It's a fair point, I am just getting used to my new rudders and not getting it square on that much. Also, I previously found I was cutting the throttle way too much and then slamming the runway in a late stall so I have been reducing it less lately but you're right I have been over-controlling to descend. All things for me to work on!
I think a few of my videos are 787-10 but I love the boeings and I love long-haul. I have a yoke so I prefer that to the airbus sidestick and I try to fly realistic BA routes. If there was an A350 for MSFS I would definitely try that and I can't wait for the FBW A380. Thanks for commenting!
