Dan and Jamie have to be my all time favorite JD’s, and don’t get me wrong, they’re all great. It’s just they sing all their parts so well, and perfectly expresses that insanity within the character. Wish they both got more recognition!
i don’t know how fairly these clips can be compared considering some are highlighted in a better light than others but all i know is that jessica vosk at her best easily tops all the others at their best
Leslie’s seems so real and most authentic for what the role is looking for. And her voice is so good. Although Eva Noblezada and Mandy Gonzalez prob take the cake as far as vocals with passionate acting
All things considered, Jamie is still my favorite JD, he manages to mix desperation, desire, fury, and that small tinge of manipulation that just hits different in such a crucial moment. His little mannerisms really sell to me the mentally disturbed teenager angle too. And his facial expressions are absolutely terrifying. He's equal times pathetic and horrifying to watch. Simply fantastic!
So I didn’t know Jeremy Jordan played JD before and earlier when listening to this song I had thought to myself that Jeremy Jordan would do good with this song 😅
Kristen, Miyuki, Sun-Ah, Bo- Kyung and Ivy are amazing not just because of their voices, but they are a little savage in their own way and don’t feel like I should either idolize or bash Glinda, but think she is jealous and trying to help at the same time.

Ok now here's my conclusion. None of them are "Bad Jd's" Some people have preferences, like honestly I'm a Christian Slater and Dan denech fan BUT Ryan was outstanding at the role and his voice work is absolutely gorgeous. Overall all of them are good and we love all Jd's.Thank you for coming to my Ted talk
