they should use a break neck trailer thats the best way to do it and the only way to do it and trust me i know we only launch through the surf in South Africa

yes your right, this was a club member launching a new member. ill get someone to film me one day launch / retrieve my 5.1mtr Quinnie. i have remote anchor winch, i drop the boat in press a button and the boat anchors itself while i park. retrieving is as easy as i beach the boat reverse the trailer up to it hook the 6000lb electric trailer winch to it and as i walk back to the car i am winching the boat up, its remote too. i get in the car and as i drive out the transom leaves the sand and is being winched on the trailer. retrieved in under a 30 seconds.
don't deflate as we are not driving any real distance, stay on the hard sand don't leave car running on wet shinny sand as the vibrations will make your wheels sink, be quick don't mess around.
Looks tidy id recomend capping all your box you dnt want the salt water in there rusting it from the inside out also you could spray some second hand oil in there before caping for double protection
cheers, i have sika flexed solid plastic ones in. still going strong. may get someone to film my launch and retrieve soon, as i do it off the beach here. the retrieve takes 30 seconds only.
Id rather have opened ends and have the water escape than having sealed ends and having water trapped inside water always finds a way in. Its stainless isn't it? Will last for years. Very nice trailer.
