Video game magazines at the time rated this game terribly. One I recall gave it a D. I dunno, I thought the game was amazing at the time. So many levels. Solid sounds, close to the arcade. It even controlled pretty good with a joystick instead of the roller ball. I like it.
I had quite a few M-Network games back in the day, and thought most were genuinely solid. This was one I never had and never even played. Looks pretty decent for its time though.
I like the bumping aspect of it. It's very satisfying to Ram into the cars and let them hit the walls:-) a few challenging jumps in later levels. Especially you have to time the jump when you have to jump on one small island to the next.
I had this game and actually kind of liked it, in a weird way. The same way I like bad B-movies. The music I thought was rocking (for the time) It's a game you pick up and play once or twice, then you move on from. Good stuff!
I had this. Some of the CBS games had more on board RAM so they were always a little bit more sophisticated than other Atari games. I also had Mountain King. Fun games!
I had this as a kid. I remember thinking they did a good job with the 3D. Also hearing the music get louder and the faces getting closer was kinda spooky in a fun way. And then turning a corner and seeing it in my face lol!
I really loved this game back in the 80s. Heck I loved 20th Century Fox games in general. Unique gameplay and fun games many of which were based on films. The boxes were cool too.
This is the first time I really went into depth and played this game. I really liked it! It was tough at first but I kind of got into it and used to how the gameplay was!
Never played this one on the Atari 2600 or the arcade. It's very interesting to see. That music though, I think it might get on a person's nerves after a while! LOL
I took apart my Dig Dug cartridge a long time ago. On the circuit board were two chips, instead of the usual single chip, and I was impressed. What a great game!
Ahhh...takes me back to the time when I wished games looked a lot better than they did. I would never play this. Not for money. Not for nostalgia. Well maybe for money.
When this came out it WAS a big deal. With the limitations of the 2600 this was epic. You had to have been there. Not every game has to take up many megabytes to be fun.
