Nation Radio South have now replaced Wave 105 to all intents & purposes. With Steve Power, Selina Ross, Tony Shepard & Andy Jackson now onboard in their rebrand, they’re the ones playing the best variety of hits from the past & the best of today. They are the ONLY choice.
Bauer, Global and OFCOM destroying the entire Local Radio industry which was a booming industry with lots of local jobs. All of that local advertising money is leaving the region and country, the Germans are feasting on our cash and jobs.
Such a shame Wave 105 is no more. Enjoyed listening over the years when driving on the A303 , M3 and along the south coast. One can only hope maybe Wave 105 will follow Pirate FM`s example and return on DAB on the South Hampshire and Bournemouth DAB multiplexes.
So very sad that Wave 105 is no more. Gutted for all the great DJs and weather/travel staff who are now without jobs. I listen to Rick at breakfast but after that I switch off - Greatest Hits radio isn't a patch on Wave 105. 😪
Very bad move. GHR buying up local and regional radio stations and replacing it with a national station can not serve an area like a local station can.
This is satisfied its like a brother to Stephen mulhern but again its like a cousin paul daniels or BGT 2017 matt Edwards for dom wood he need to be in britains got talent 2023
I love - LOVE - the bright primary colours of the old South West Trains. Makes me smile every time I see one near my parents' flat. The newer ones with the South Western Railway branding aren't nearly as nice, so I would hope SWR decides to bring back the colourful liveries in the future.
I like both. The bold blue livery is awesome but the new livery on the Desiros makes them look somewhat professional and I like that, it stands out against the 455 for example
As far as I'm aware this is not an intended procedure in Britain. In Germany it would be possible (although with a lot of paperwork) and supposedly there are countries where the driver would do this even completly on his own.
