One of the best possible people bob could have gotten to get behind the drums, Jay Lane is a talent man. He gives added youth and freshness to everything he does in terms of playing with Bob in various outfits. Jay tells it how it is too, he is not any sort of a yes man. His ideas and methodology of drumming is something that is a life giver of sorts.

Why they disbanded Furthur to play three crappy "GD" shows in Chicago is beyond me. They should have scheduled a 50th anniversary TOUR and then let it rest. MSG, Hampton, The Greek, etc. would have loved to have a final so-called Grateful Dead show, but I guess the money grab was too hard to resist. Them hippies. WOW! I was planning on going in there with my camera and telling everyone in the waiting room that's it's a scam. I was there 2 days ago and deposited my $80 after I was interviewed by 'Ms. Kate' to get my Fireguard. I already have a license with the 8 & 16 HR and they said it was going to be $240 just for the Fireguard course.
