I catch 4-5 foot tarpon on my VR75 all the time down in the keys. It’s honestly a perfect size for most inshore fishing. Although, the 150 would be better if you’re planning on throwing larger live bait on it, like mullet and big pin fish. The 200 is a bit overkill for inshore in my opinion.
Alright thanks for the info. You have that on a custom rod? I was thinking 9ft something... Jawbone or steeadfast. 9'feels good to me and thats what i throw now for catching jacks.etc for shark bait here. Typically throwing big poppers 3-5oz spoons etc. Thanks
@@iamatt no. I have it on a Star Rods 7’6 Seagis. I don’t do much fishing off the beach, so I have no need for anything over 8’, and I’ve found 7’6 rods to be the most versatile for inshore fishing. I’m actually picking up a 150 tomorrow just for throwing live mullet and larger artificial baits
My bro you should do a video with all your fishing gear. I noticed you have a vs150x2, a vsb50x2 and a vr75. You probably have others I’ve missed. I’m positive if you did a “my gear 2024” video it will get a ton of views. Keep up the good work. 😊
Is this in Sebastian? Very cool man I haven't tried wade fishing in a while. Stop by Vero Tackle & Watersports sometime would like to meet you man. We carry those Thumper Shrimp 👍👍
So I’ve had this Aerator for awhile… Pros is that it runs phenomenal, I loved every bit of it until it broke… Cons, it’s crazy loud! It’s not USB type C so it takes forever to charge. It’s not air tight so water can get in. Mine started malfunctioning after my warranty ran out, the line started sucking water back into the aerator… Weird I know! So anything metal inside was basically shot! Batteries were done for as well. Nothing was stainless steel. So I bought an Engel aerator, honestly frabils delux aerator is over priced and didn’t have most of the perks that the Engel aerator has to offer. I’m a long time frabil aerator user but never again 🤦♂️
