12 in or 12 out debate. I think whoever received Paul's gospel didn't have to endure to the end to be saved but also remained in the calling they were called to. The little flock remained in the earthly kingdom program even if they received Paul's Gospel. I also see Paul trying to move some from faith to faith for that purpose.

Youngs is a word for word literal translation, but in some instances, retaining the original word order and grammar from Greek and Hebrew leads to readability issues, when the English grammar doesn't align with the Greek and Hebrew grammar. Most of the time, your brain automatically compensates for the words being out of order from what you would expect, but sometimes you have to read a verse several times before it clicks.

1. Did God predetermine all villains in the Bible? - **Asked by:** Glenn - **Scripture References:** Exodus 7:3, Daniel 4:28-32, Mark 14:21, Acts 1:16 **Summary:** The host explains that while God designated certain villains like Pharaoh and Nebuchadnezzar, the idea of predetermination is more complex. Pharaoh’s heart was hardened by God, but it’s not clear that this was predetermined before the foundation of the world. Nebuchadnezzar was used by God as a villain, and Judas' betrayal seems more likely to have been predetermined. However, other villains like Alexander the Coppersmith acted out of free will, illustrating the host's stronger advocacy for free will over predetermination. 2. How can NIV say Israel in Ephesians 3:6? - **Asked by:** Anonymous (Sarasota, Florida) - **Scripture References:** Ephesians 3:6 (comparison of translations) **Summary:** The host critiques the NIV for adding "Israel" in Ephesians 3:6, which is not present in the original Greek text. The NIV is described as a commentary rather than a translation, as it imposes interpretative decisions rather than strictly translating the text. The host emphasizes the importance of using translations that adhere closely to the original text. 3. When people speak of the universal church, don't they really mean the worldwide body of Christ? What's the difference? - **Asked by:** Anonymous **Summary:** The host prefers the term "body of Christ" over "universal church," arguing that "church" implies a local assembly, whereas "body of Christ" refers to all believers across time and space. The host warns against the ecumenical implications of "universal church," which might suggest organizational unity among all denominations, including those with conflicting doctrines. 4. Did Paul ever establish a grace church or just visit synagogues? - **Asked by:** Anonymous **Summary:** The host notes that while Paul often started his ministry in synagogues, he did establish grace churches, such as the church at Corinth. However, most of his work began within the Jewish community before extending to Gentiles. The host suggests that a detailed study would reveal more about Paul’s establishment of churches outside of Jewish contexts. 5. How do we know that the pronoun "him" in Revelation 19:10 is an angel? - **Asked by:** Manny (San Antonio) **Summary:** The host examines the context of Revelation 19 and concludes that while the text does not explicitly state the figure is an angel, the evidence points towards an angelic being. The pronoun "him" could refer to an angel based on the consistent angelic interactions throughout Revelation. However, the host acknowledges that a definitive textual proof is lacking. 6. What do you make of partial or full preterist interpretation of the book of Revelation? - **Asked by:** Adrienne (New York) **Summary:** The host criticizes preterism for its inconsistency and reliance on subjective historical interpretations that do not fit perfectly with the biblical text. The host prefers a futurist interpretation, which sees the events of Revelation as yet to occur, aligning with the precise and clear fulfillment seen in other biblical prophecies. 7. Is the son of David that died in 2 Samuel 12:15-18 an infant? - **Asked by:** Rhonda (Missouri) - **Scripture References:** 2 Samuel 12:15-18, 1 Chronicles 3:5 **Summary:** The host discusses whether the son who died was an infant or older. While the traditional view is that he was an infant, the host acknowledges Rhonda’s point that the term "child" is used, which could suggest an older age. The order of names in 1 Chronicles 3:5 might not be chronological, adding to the complexity of determining the child's age. 8. Will you define worship? - **Asked by:** Anonymous **Summary:** The host defines worship as a purposeful and explicit act of honoring, praising, and committing oneself to a deity. This definition excludes general acts of righteousness or teaching as worship, emphasizing the need for intentionality and direct devotion in acts of worship.

I totally agree. There is no such thing as a Trinity. It’s a pagan man made doctrine. I believe in God The Father, His Son Jesus Christ who is not God but God’s Son, and a Holy Spirit. I have read a lot of books and have done a bunch of research on the trinity. I could go on forever about this topic. Paul never ever taught the trinity as it is spelled out on 99 percent of all church websites. Pastors are ignorant of this doctrine. Really sad.

Summary: 1. Gerard from the Netherlands asked about the validity of the word count methodology used by Brandon Peterson in the King James Version. - Asked by: Gerard from the Netherlands - Scripture References: Micah 1 - Summary: Gerard highlighted a previous error by Dr. White, where Young's Literal Translation was used instead of the King James Version for a word count. The host agreed that the word count was accurate but argued that Peterson's method of proving the King James Version's preservation through numerical patterns was convoluted and unconvincing. The host suggested using better arguments for the preservation of God's word in the King James Version. 2. Janice from North Carolina inquired about an article from the Dissenter regarding whether God spared Trump's life and if Trump will repent and believe the gospel. - Asked by: Janice from North Carolina - Scripture References: Daniel 2:21, Acts 16:31 - Summary: The host discussed the inconsistencies in attributing events to God's sovereignty, arguing that calling an event tragic while believing in divine orchestration is contradictory. He criticized the Calvinist viewpoint in the article and emphasized the need for logical consistency when discussing divine intervention and human actions. 3. John Spartan asked why not be consistent and reject the Trinity if it relies on mysticism. - Asked by: John Spartan - Scripture References: 1 John (Johanneen comma), Matthew 3:16-17 (baptism of Jesus) - Summary: The host clarified that he rejects the Chalcedonian Creed but accepts the biblical presentation of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. He believes in a triune God as presented in scripture but does not adhere to traditional creeds that attempt to explain the Trinity in mystical terms. 4. Myra from Green Bay asked if the host intentionally skipped 2 Samuel 13:13 during the previous day's sermon. - Asked by: Myra from Green Bay - Scripture References: 2 Samuel 13:13 - Summary: The host acknowledged unintentionally skipping the verse and explained its context. Tamar tried to dissuade Amnon from raping her by highlighting the shame and foolishness it would bring. She suggested discussing the matter with King David, hoping to delay or prevent the act. 5. Timothy asked about the differences between corporate churches in America and the original churches in scripture. - Asked by: Timothy - Scripture References: Acts 2:46 (house to house meetings) - Summary: The host discussed the structural differences, noting that early churches met in homes without corporate structures, budgets, or large buildings. He questioned whether modern practices, such as having a church building or budget, are unbiblical, suggesting that while they differ from early church practices, they are not necessarily prohibited by scripture.

I was a trinitarian for over 40 years and I defended the doctrine. 17 years ago I left the trinity doctrine behind because my scripture alone views caused me to understand the Bible differently. 25:15 I do not believe that Israel is who Paul would have us to be like ("Put on"). The first mention of elect is speaking of JESUS CHRIST. Isa 42:1-13. Behold my servant, whom I uphold; *👉mine elect,👈* in whom my soul delighteth; I have put my spirit upon him: he shall bring forth judgment to the Gentiles. He shall not cry, nor lift up, nor cause his voice to be heard in the street. A bruised reed shall he not break, and the smoking flax shall he not quench: he shall bring forth judgment unto truth. He shall not fail nor be discouraged, till he have set judgment in the earth: and the isles shall wait for his law. Thus saith God the LORD, *he that created the heavens, and stretched them out; he that spread forth the earth, and that which cometh out of it; he that giveth breath unto the people upon it, and spirit to them that walk therein:* I the LORD have called thee in righteousness, and will hold thine hand, and will keep thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, for a light of the Gentiles; To open the blind eyes, to bring out the prisoners from the prison, and them that sit in darkness out of the prison house. I am the LORD: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images. Behold, the former things are come to pass, and new things do I declare: before they spring forth I tell you of them. Sing unto the LORD a new song, and his praise from the end of the earth, ye that go down to the sea, and all that is therein; the isles, and the inhabitants thereof. Let the wilderness and the cities thereof lift up their voice, the villages that Kedar doth inhabit: let the inhabitants of the rock sing, let them shout from the top of the mountains. Let them give glory unto the LORD, and declare his praise in the islands. The LORD shall go forth as a mighty man, he shall stir up jealousy like a man of war: he shall cry, yea, roar; he shall prevail against his enemies.

1. Why do theologians not look into the evidence for the significance of 823,543 words in the King James Bible? - Asked by: Gerard in the Netherlands - Scripture References: Micah 1 - Summary: Theologians might avoid this topic due to the numerous assumptions and potential inaccuracies in word counts across different versions of the Bible. For the claim of 823,543 words to be valid, the exact counts in each chapter, like Micah 1, must match. However, discrepancies in word counts raise doubts about the validity of this claim, making it less robust for theological discourse. 2. Does John 2:18-23 disprove the statement "The Father is not the Son" as depicted in the Shield of the Trinity diagram? - Asked by: Jay in Tennessee - Scripture References: John 2:18-23, Galatians 1:1 - Summary: While John 2:18-23 indicates Jesus saying He will raise Himself from the dead, Galatians 1:1 states that God the Father raised Jesus from the dead. This presents a complex theological puzzle about the relationship between the Father and the Son. The Shield of the Trinity diagram, which asserts the Father is not the Son, remains a simplified representation of a more profound mystery that theologians continue to explore without a complete understanding of the Trinity. 3. What does it mean that Jesus had to learn obedience through suffering as stated in Hebrews 5:8? - Asked by: Anonymous - Scripture References: Hebrews 5:8 - Summary: The Greek term used for "learned" in Hebrews 5:8 suggests an experiential understanding. Jesus, though eternally the Son of God, experienced obedience in a new way through His sufferings. This unique experience in His human incarnation allowed Him to fully submit and obey the Father, demonstrating a practical aspect of obedience He had not experienced before His incarnation. 4. Is J.N. Darby considered the father of dispensationalism, or is there more to his story? - Asked by: Pastor Timothy - Scripture References: None - Summary: J.N. Darby's contributions to dispensationalism are significant, but he might not fully align with contemporary dispensationalist views. The title "father of dispensationalism" can be misleading, as Darby's ideas evolved and differed from today's interpretations. Dispensationalism has developed beyond Darby's original teachings, and his work should be appreciated within its historical context. 5. Could it be said that the King James Version is a Bible based on dispensationalism? - Asked by: Chris from Forney, Texas - Scripture References: None - Summary: The King James Version (KJV) was not specifically created with dispensationalism in mind. The translators aimed for accuracy, beauty, and acceptance by the masses, rather than promoting a particular theological stance. While the KJV supports dispensationalist interpretation due to its precise translation, its creation was not ideologically driven by dispensationalism. 6. Is charity in Colossians 3:14 equivalent to agape, and has its meaning changed over time? - Asked by: Alan in Portland - Scripture References: Colossians 3:14 - Summary: The term "charity" in Colossians 3:14 is derived from the Greek word agape, which denotes a selfless, divine love. Over time, "charity" has come to represent practical expressions of agape within the Christian context. The translators of the King James Version used "charity" to distinguish between the abstract concept of divine love and its tangible, Christian expressions. 7. Does the word "many" in Matthew 26:28 refer specifically to Israel or imply all people? - Asked by: Thomas in Lilliwap, Washington - Scripture References: Matthew 26:28 - Summary: The term "many" in Matthew 26:28 traditionally refers to Israel rather than all people. Biblical usage of "many" often distinguishes a specific group within a broader context. Therefore, interpreting "many" as "all" is misleading, as the term is used deliberately to highlight a subset, which in this case, is Israel.

The Dsntr article on faith… That is the Calvinist response to what they see as *the* problem - people are claiming to have faith and still sinning. They hate this, so have developed different adjectives for faith and call biblical faith “easy beliefism.” They need to look in the mirror instead of being so deceived by their pharisaical self-righteousness. But truly, they just don’t know what to do with the contradictions they see in the Bible. So, they have to develop these convoluted theories. It’s very sad.

Summary of today's questions: 1. How much of inflation is actually market-driven and how much of it is criminal greed? - Asked by: Scott in Texas - Scripture References: None - Summary: The answer explores the complexities of inflation, questioning the extent of "criminal greed" and discussing how government regulations and market forces contribute to rising prices. The conclusion suggests that while some inflation may be market-driven, much of it is exacerbated by government interference and regulatory costs. 2. Why does Philippians 2:12 mention "fear and trembling" in the context of working out your salvation? - Asked by: Jen in Washington - Scripture References: Philippians 2:12, 2 Corinthians 7:15, Ephesians 6:5 - Summary: The phrase "fear and trembling" is interpreted as indicating a deep reverence or respect towards God while working out one's salvation. It emphasizes the seriousness and devotion required in the process, aligning with similar uses of the phrase in other Pauline letters. 3. Is there any application for today in Revelation 18:2? - Asked by: Anonymous - Scripture References: Revelation 18:2 - Summary: The discussion highlights that while Revelation 18:2 describes a future fall of Babylon, there are metaphorical similarities to the present world. However, the specific context is futuristic, indicating the eventual downfall of a wicked system rather than describing current events. 4. Can demons influence or interact with us today, and do ghosts exist? - Asked by: Nicholas in Bolingbrook - Scripture References: None - Summary: The answer posits that in the current dispensation of grace, demons cannot influence or interact with humans directly. The idea of ghosts is also dismissed, suggesting that perceived supernatural occurrences often have psychological or physical explanations rather than spiritual causes.

Summary of questions for July 10: 1. In 1 Corinthians, what does "the body" refer to? - Asked by: Anonymous - Scripture References: 1 Corinthians 6:19, Romans 12:1 - Summary: The body in 1 Corinthians can refer to several things: the physical body, the corporate body of believers (local assembly), or the actual body of Jesus Christ. Most references are to the physical body, either as a direct mention or as an illustration. Specific passages like 1 Corinthians 6:19 discuss the local Christian assembly being the temple of the Holy Ghost, not an individual's body. 2. Can Psalm 110:1 and Romans 11:25 be connected together? - Asked by: Manny in San Antonio - Scripture References: Psalm 110:1, Romans 11:25 - Summary: These verses can be connected by filling in some contextual gaps. Psalm 110:1 speaks of Christ seated at the right hand of the Father until His enemies are made His footstool. Romans 11:25 mentions the temporary blindness of Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles comes in. The connection lies in the period of Christ's session (being seated) and the ongoing times of the Gentiles. 3. Who are the 24 elders in Revelation 5:8? - Asked by: Pastor Timothy, Grand Rapids - Scripture References: Revelation 5:8, 1 Chronicles 24 - Summary: The 24 elders are likely angelic beings with a specific role in the heavenly realm rather than human individuals promoted to this position. They worship and serve God the Father and are distinct from the saints and the four beasts mentioned in Revelation. 4. What are your thoughts on providing lawn chair sermons outside the parsonage to reach more people who won't come to church? - Asked by: Ron, Chugwater, Wyoming - Summary: This is a creative and community-focused idea that can work well in a small town like Chugwater. It builds on the relational aspect of ministry, making it approachable and informal. Adding simple refreshments and spreading the word through handwritten notes can help attract attendees. Personal enjoyment and genuine interest in the activity are key to its success. 5. What's the difference between the church in the first century (Paul's time) compared to now in 2024 regarding its purpose, mission, and function? - Asked by: Bobby, Western Canada - Summary: The major difference is the shift from a relational, community-focused gathering to a more organized, business-like entity. Modern churches often prioritize efficiency, excellence, and corporate strategies, which can detract from the personal, family-like atmosphere that characterized the early church. The purpose and mission have become more structured, sometimes at the expense of genuine personal connections.

A summary of today's program: 1. Have you seen the Answers in Genesis curriculum based on the Seven C's in God's Eternal Plan, and how does it compare to dispensationalism? - Asked by: Anonymous - Scripture References: Genesis 3, Genesis 6, Genesis 11, John 14, 1 Thessalonians 4:13-17, 1 Corinthians 15:51-53 - Summary: The Answers in Genesis curriculum, which includes the Seven C's (Creation, Corruption, Catastrophe, Confusion, Christ, Cross, and Consummation), bears similarities to dispensationalism but differs notably by not including a distinct dispensation of the law. This leads to potential replacement theology and a more amillennial view of the end times. The lack of separation between law and grace and between Israel and the Church can lead to theological confusion. 2. What is your perspective on the Berean Call's "God's Non-Negotiable Gospel" and its explanation of the gospel? - Asked by: Pastor Barney in Iowa - Scripture References: Romans 1:1-3, 1 Corinthians 15:51-53, 2 Corinthians 5:19, Ephesians 3 - Summary: The Berean Call's explanation of the gospel includes standard evangelical elements such as the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus, but it lacks precision in distinguishing between different dispensations and the specific revelations given to Paul. The article suggests that the gospel can be fully derived from the Old Testament, which is inconsistent with the Pauline revelation that introduces new aspects of the gospel not found in the Old Testament. 3. How do you respond to Rabbi Tovia Singer's attacks on Christianity, particularly his criticism that Paul created a new religion? - Asked by: Toby in Oklahoma - Scripture References: N/A - Summary: Rabbi Tovia Singer argues that Paul created a new religion distinct from the teachings of Jesus. This criticism highlights the need for right division, recognizing that Paul's gospel and teachings introduce new elements separate from the Jewish religion practiced by Jesus and the apostles. Understanding Paul's unique role and message is crucial to defending Christianity against such critiques. 4. Is it possible for someone who was once in Christ and a new creature to become a "former Christian"? - Asked by: Louis from Lexington - Scripture References: N/A - Summary: The term "former Christian" is problematic if one accepts that being in Christ and becoming a new creature entails receiving eternal life. Once a person is truly saved and made a new creature, they cannot lose this status. The term is often misused and should be clarified to refer to someone who may have once adhered to the Christian faith but now rejects it.

Current events in Missouri make me think that your suggestion for dumping the primary system would ultimately give more power to the establishment. Missourians caucused for delegates to send to the RNC, choosing conservative, pro-Trump delegates. The RNC falsely accused the state GOP of errors and nullified the people’s delegates. So, the state GOP selected their own slate of establishment delegates, not chosen by the people.

Pastor: Your statement near the end was: "Jesus said, obey the law and you will be saved, Paul said its a free gift." my question is, where in John 3:16 does Jesus say, "obey the commandments and you will have eternal life?" obviously Jesus says believe....so how do you stand by such a statement when Christ clearly says believe. i do get that in the sermon on the mount he stressed the law, but we know that was a different dispensation. Jesus called people to believe in HIM, have faith just as Paul did. right?

I was paraphrasing the account of the rich young ruler (Mark 10:17-22), in which Jesus instructed the man to obey the commandments, answering the question about how to have eternal life. Belief (faith) was essential to obedience to the Law, so you can find belief passages in the Law, Prophets, and Gospels. But the "faith alone" aspect is what is unique to Paul. As to John 3:16, I find it interesting that there is no equivalent message in the synoptics. See this link for more on that: worshify.com/watch/rwm/because-you-asked-for-it/5

Hi Pastor White: you said," 1 Timothy 1:15-16 says, that Paul says: "I am the first one that came to Christ under this new program" so being the berean i looked it up and here is the KJV followed by NLT kjv 1 tim 1:15 This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief. 16 Howbeit for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might shew forth all longsuffering, for a pattern to them which should hereafter believe on him to life everlasting. nlt: "15 This is a trustworthy saying, and everyone should accept it: “Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners”-and I am the worst of them all. 16 But God had mercy on me so that Christ Jesus could use me as a prime example of his great patience with even the worst sinners. Then others will realize that they, too, can believe in him and receive eternal life. " perhaps you have a deeper teaching that brings out what i don't see. the literal words do not seem to support your idea, but you may be right. to me Paul is just saying that by believing in Jesus you can be saved. I am not sure why this has to be so complicated? I do respect your scholarship which i lack, but still i do not see your definition at all lining up with the text you quoted. thanks and i am open! Jim

Paul was commissioned by Jesus, Acts 9. Paul is teaching about and hie is writing to share the gospel (Romans 1:16) and is giving NEW commandments: 1 Cor 14:37 If any man think himself to be a prophet, or spiritual, let him acknowledge that the things that I write unto you are the commandments of the Lord. (i don't yet see the problem you are trying to explain?) Wasn't Paul working for Jesus?

@@jimolson2447 in essence, I agree with you. But since Paul did teach new things, which were in opposition to old things, many accuse him of being a heretic, perverting the faith. Others insist that all Pauline material is consistent with the earlier kingdom material, which is also in error. It is essential to see that Paul has a distinct program.

@@RandyWhite thanks for responding! Yes Jesus was preaching the kingdom, but rejected and so the kingdom is postponed. In the mean time the gospel is to be preached. the old things were the kingdom things, which will actually be the new things, when Jesus comes back!

Why is "he is dead" capitalized in 2 Samuel 12:19 but not in 2 Samuel 12:23? - Asked by: Myra - Scripture References: 2 Samuel 12:19, 23 - Summary: The capitalization in verse 19 indicates the start of a quotation, whereas in verse 23, "he is dead" is part of a continuing sentence. The host explains that the King James Version does not use quotation marks, which can make the capitalization seem inconsistent. The context clarifies the usage. 5. Do we in the body of Christ have Christ in our hearts? - Asked by: Anonymous - Scripture References: Ephesians 3:17 - Summary: The host affirms that Christ dwells in believers' hearts by faith, as stated in Ephesians 3:17. He acknowledges that while the term can be metaphorical, it is biblically supported and commonly understood within Christian belief. The host is not concerned with the terminology of having Christ in one's heart, as it aligns with scriptural teachings.
