1.what kind of model do you want to do 2.research the client that your going on the casting for (what kind of style do they like, how do they like hair what kind of fitted clothes do they wear,...) 3. Do your research on agency{scammers} 4.model staples you should have in your closet (fitted jeans, black or blue fitted tops black/white, heels {pumps, bootys, skinner heels} 5. You can’t come in and think this is a get rich quick 30-90 days to get paid 6.they will ask for you social media 7.know who you are (because people are going to try and influence you in good/bad) 8.a lot of rejection 9.know your boundaries (what you won't do){stand on business} 10. If there is something that is makin you uncomfortable speak up and if they find it to be a problem never work with them again
BBC Beach and Magazine Beach are two of my favs. Loved the beach jumping idea. I might try that next time. Greenz is home sweet home. Loved the music too. Subscribed 🫶🏾
Tricia you're so pretty!!😍 Thank you so much for the tips!! I'm a 17 y/o boy and become a model is my very big dream, at this age i still wanted to know more about modeling, even im quite tall 6'0 at this age but i still scared if i got rejected by agencies 😭 Anyway Thank you again Tricia, love you❤
Thank you so much for this ❤️ don’t let rejection scare you! It’s inevitable and a part of industry. But remember it only takes one yes, so go for it! 🙌🏾
Heyy. Thank you so much for making this video, I really find this helpful❤ Do you have any tips on how can I increase my social media presence w/o having much friends?
I’m so happy it was helpful for you! 💗 i don’t think you need to have many friends to build a social media presence. Just by posting content that’s authentic and engaging you’ll just attract people who are aligned with you and grow that way
Hey Tricia. I’m currently binging your videos.😊 I’m interested in getting into the modeling industry. I watched your video where touched on black hair. I’d love to hear your perspective on modeling as a black woman in general.
I really enjoyed this video! Saying no has completely changed my life trajectory! Also can you please share the name of the app you were referring to? ❤
This is very inspiring, I am learning a lot from you. I intend to take my leap of faith this year and literally take the plunge and submit applications for modelling agencies here in the UK. You are so poised and professional, you have a beautiful spirit and I am very happy to be following you on this journey. Congratulations 🥂 one again on signing with Elite, this agency is renowned. You are well on your way to being a supermodel and superseding the greats!!! 🏆
hello mam, Hope you are well. I always enjoy watching your videos. You are working hard to grow your channel. Why can't. Because your channel has some problems. What do you want to see. I can show you. And help you fix the problems. Give me your WhatsApp number. There we talk. To solve your channel problems. And how to grow your channel.
This was an informative video especially about the hairstyles. I’ve been struggling to see what works for me because I wear sewins and I’ve seen that work on some models. I’ve worn my natural hair to castings to agencies and they weren’t a fan of the look and shape. (I’m an independent model just starting). So it’s just frustrating yo see what works and what doesn’t especially since I like to change my hair often. Not to mention like you said, black women spend time and money for braids to be put in. I just feel like the industry is anti black honestly when it comes to hairstyling.
I’m glad this video gave you some insight to the industry! I think it’s really one of those things where you have to play around with different looks and see which one gains traction. But, speaking from an agency perspective once a look is decided on you’ll usually have to stick with it for the jobs you book. But since you’re independent, showing versatility with your hair could actually be an asset for you :)
