I really like watching these documentaries but when I hear something contrary to the facts that I've been presented my whole life it kind of puts a damper on the words he sang in my belief in them😢 for instance the losers in the Ballgame had to be sacrificed. I graduated in 1980. Started playing in 1981. Unless you are a virtuoso, which I am not. Practicing by yourself is boring. Go find yourself a cheap boss drum machine. They are a blast. As a bass player over the years, i always had a drum machine, and I can always find a guitarist to play with me. Now at 62 I discovered the boss dr 880. Its bass and drums. I play rhythm. I am also an engineer. I step record the chords to songs using the chord sheets I download. All my music friends have moved on. Takes an hour or so to program a song. I play chords and sing. I now have my own bass player and drummer who are always perfect. There is no practice here. Just hours of fun. By myself. It's actually fun programming the songs, too. Remember, it's the journey, not the destination 😊
