That darn Grazer sure can be a bully when she wants. This was only my second season watching the Katmai cams, but looking at a tribute video to 409, it looks as though she and Grazer went at it a lot! Thx for this. 😊
Yes, 409 Beadnose is the mother of 909 and 910. This is indeed her spunky girls, 909 and 910 closest to us, walking in front of 409. The little bluff charge by one of them is my favorite.
@@luvbears7492 thank you for replying! I was new to the bear scene this year, and 909 and 910's "fishing technique" is what caught my attention from my very first watch, and I was hooked! Then to find out they were sisters, and about their adorable family, but didn't know their history, just their "present". I was glad to see your post in my feed inferring that was their mother (I expected her to be a 900, too) ...Is she still alive?
Thank goodness mama Grissly did not continue wading in the strong current. Went back to where her cubs are & all 3 bears walk up into the forest! Wonderful Mom!
Beautiful videos of the grizzlies at Katmai, it’s simply just jaw dropping! The park is just an amazing hidden gem within the National parks! But I love videos like yours, that are original and authentic! Would love to support your channel if your willing to do the same! 😍
The noise you hear is a cry from a glaucous-winged gull. I've heard beluga whale whistles while standing on the riverbank in King Salmon, but only once. A hydrophone though would pick up a continuous chorus from the whales.
Lurch was quick to fight...some cubs of his are out there I think. Maybe Velcro, son of 247 (I think). The little guy has attitude. I hope he hangs in for a long time. This should, might be his emancipation year. Go Velcro!!!
Yes, Lurch lives on in many, I believe. Let's hope to see Velcro again (273's cub) before Mom sends him on his way. Counting down until we see all of them again. :)
