Steadying is my next adventure after I wrap up my akc junior hunter . I’ve started to steady my Springer “Penny” to tossed dummies and cold birds. It made her a bit sticky, so i I want to finish the little JH title first. That looked like a really fun training session.
You mentioned it in the beginning of your video. I would love to see how you handle a dog that’s stopping and looking. I have a nice little dog coming up, but she will stop and look for birds flying fairly often.
Back in the early 80s I was deer hunting from a tree in Texas.. Not 1 but 2 Bobcats walked up to the tree I was in,and they proceeded to scratch the base of it,Then one jumped up about 4 ft and started climbing up..I was sitting there and they had no idea that I was up in the tree with a deer rifle .Too bad I had a scope on it .All I saw was Spots in the scope...fired and missed. They ran away..
