@@elucidaeg Yes, unfortunately. I had to cut the video because there were people in front of me that would not sit down. I left the show before it was over. Sorry.
I wish i took better care of my CDs when I was a kid. I knew no better. lol I've been a fan since Bills, Bills, Bills. I finally got a chance to see her live at the Renaissance Tour in Atlanta Night 3. I was going no matter what. Even if I had to sit in the nosebleeds (which I did). I was going with someone but they decided to sell their ticket the night before without talking to me. It was too gay for him I guess. But it was one of the best nights of my life. I wish I took more videos. It was a blurrrr. It did not feel like it was 2 1/2 hours long. lol
@@robertlewis5544 I wish I had taken care of my cd collection as a kid too! I had soooooo much more than I have now. I’m glad you got to experience Renaissance! It definitely was a magical night! I relive that night even now! So much fun!
Wow we pretty much have the same vinyls including Savage Rmx. I don’t have TWOTW or EIL tho. I also went to the Dallas show at Club Renaissance it’s on my channel 🥰
Hey there! Just found your channel and subbed! Great stuff! I didn't know Gerald Levert had a Wal-Mart exclusive? Very nice. Looking forward to seeing more and more!
Awesome video! I have the Mamas Gun VMP as well - one of the last with a drink recipe in the obi! Thanks 🙏 so much for the shoutout! You got a new sub here! Looking forward to more!
Thanks so much for watching!!! I’m getting into more kinds of music thanks to your channel so I really appreciate that you took the time to watch and subscribe! More coming soon…gotta work on scheduling and stepping up my production! Baby steps!
The one only Anita Baker. Her voice is magical. She still sounds like her album. God Almighty has still preserved her voice. Many Blessings!!! God bless her.
I allways enjoy these videos of yours. I found it fascinating. And I have been a fan of any incarnation of The Jackson group since I was eight years old and now I am 63. Michael was so cool to me
Thank you so much for the kind words! I’m glad you enjoy my videos. There’s more to come. As you can tell I love all things MJ 🤣 He’s still the greatest in my book.
Right on, i hope that you had a Merry Christmas. This was a good video. One of my favorite Christmas albums is Merry Christmas from The Supremes and silent night by Ms Mahalia Jackson.
Thank you! I hope you had a great Christmas also. Yea Christmas is my favorite time of year. I don’t think I’ve heard either one of those. The only Supremes Christmas song I know is My Favorite Things.
Music to me is influential. Your videos were impressive. In my collection i have 2 boyz to men that printed the wrong covers on them , but thats cool. With me. Have you ever had records that they printed the wrong picture for the cover.
I agree! Music has a huge impact on every situation. It can change the whole mood. I don’t think I have any misprints that I’m aware of. I will have to go thru them to find out!
Were these US releases? Bc to my knowledge it’s only been released in the US for home video back in the 80s. I know other countries have received official releases though.
@@Therealdeal06 I'm not sure but many were released in Europe for sure. Huge and cool collection btw💯. I'm also with you in terms of the Thriller 40 documentary.
@@mjlivetv8065 Oh yea, I knew about the UK releases. I should have clarified that in the video. And I appreciate that!! Yea, Thriller 40 could have been much better. Thanks for watching!!
Everyone is constantly talking about this new phenomenon that channels the voices of Ella, Diana, and the greats. I hear a GOD Given gift. I hear her late grandmother Ruth and her aunt Beverly and I also hear her aunt Patsy. Stay humble before GOD and keep HIM first. Be Encouraged, Be Strengthened, and Be Blessed IN JESUS' NAME AMEN 💜

Hey Real Deal! I totally agree with you about Brandy’s Christmas album. I love her as a vocalist and artist but the Christmas album didn’t move me like I thought it would. Also, I forgot how physical discs for albums also have their own design. The design on those records are dope. Loved the review! Keep em coming!! 💪🏾
Why would they talk to his brothers and sisters. Doing that period Micheal was done with the group and didn’t his brothers say thriller wasn’t gone to be that big. The spoke to people that the album impacted. Also Brooke was around more than his brothers doing the thriller era. And plus what else was they gone to talk about thriller basically had a doc for thriller 25
The Victory tour was very much a part of the beginning of Thriller. They could have talked to them about what was happening behind the scenes during that time. Also Brooke Shields added no significant information toward the creation of Thriller so her presence in a documentary about making the album was irrelevant. She doesn’t add anything significant. Furthermore she can be quoted saying disparaging things about Michael surrounding her time with and around him. So her being in it is basically insulting to his legacy. Thanks for watching.
@@Therealdeal06 Micheal was forced to do the victory tour. Why u think he only appeared on like 2 songs. He didn’t went nothing to do with the tour. That’s why John said Micheal wanted to tour on tour but Joe had other ideas. And plus when Micheal passed the siblings was trying their hardest to get to his money.
@@Therealdeal06 also the doc was supposed to be about the creation of thriller it was more of how it it impacted the music industry and so on. We heard how the creation of thriller was made. I don’t know why people was trying to make it like from Motown to off the wall or bad 25
@@EddieMorrison-f1q I prefer actual history. Not revisionist history. Everything you mentioned explains why Michael was the way he was with his family…especially with his brothers. Talking to them about the Victory tour and how they felt about Michael’s success would have added to the story. For people that were not alive during that time they don’t know these things. Documentaries are supposed to tell the story. In my opinion Nelson George did a half assed job. I’m not telling anyone not to watch it or enjoy it. I personally left feeling the complete story was not told.
I’ve always liked Brandy but only really dived deep into her catalog until B7 came out. B7 is my favorite - sonically, lyrics, vocal technique, emotion, production and the messages within the music. It is exquisite for my taste. She is a musical genius. Each of her other albums are great too. She is an impeccable artist. My next fav album is NSN! Thanks for sharing your collection
