I still feel like these models get an unfair amount of hate. Sure some of the models are downgrades, like how the lava spawn and fire elementals don’t have their effects, but I still see a lot of love and care put into these models. If they had more effects, better shading and if the environment had the same level of efforts put into the models, it would be quite wonderful
Gotta love how reforged makes some unnecesary redesigns and at times, changes a unique design into a generic one. Doom Guards and Dragons are victims of this. Sam with the Orc Warlock.
Most people think there's almost no difference between Blood Elves and High Elves... And it's true, but there's something many believe it's the same and it's not: The Dragonhawk Riders. Blood Elf Dragonhawk Riders are weaker but have the cloud spell to disable towers. The High Elf Dragonhawk Riders don't have it, but they are waaay stronger, doing a lot more damage per hit
this chapter made me suffer for years ... every time I tried to pass it I was unable to do it and then I would stop playing for more than one or 2 years to then come back and try it again. I was unable to pass it until today following a somewhat simple strategy. I simply stopped using the devils that were invoked and focused on defending with the other units and near the end I could gather some army near the litch while everthing, every building (iuncluding production buildings) were getting destroyed. then the forces gathered were attacked and eliminated but just in time the 30 min passed ... I was so happy xDDDD. now I wanted to see how other player would do it and I am amazed that you even managed to destroy one of the towns sending soldiers ... that is the reason why near the end You were not receiving more attacks as you would expect normally gg men, you definitely are a pro
I like Terraria because of the action. Not only can you build, mine and explore but you can fight literal gods that can help you progress through the game. I like Minecraft just because I grew up with it and the atmosphere of the game is really calming. Minecraft is a nostalgic and relaxing game that focuses on creative building and exploration, while Terraria is an action game that makes adrenaline rush through your body everytime you play it
Nice models for the most part in reforged but they really dropped the ball as far as animation. There's little things like that ridiculous recoil anim at 0:50 but the old models were so much more expressive. The unit profiles of reforged look like dolls that can move their mouth a bit. Blizzard quality is not what it once was.
This was such a frustrating mission. I tried it frontal, got rekt. I tried it using transports, got rekt. Ended up using Demolishers and Batriders to cheese it. Blarg. Glad it wasn't just frustrating for me.
I'm surprised you didn't also show the Night Elf Archer when the Elven Archer was shown, like you had done with the Elven Frigate. I'd consider the Night Elf Archer to be the WarCraft III version of the Elven Archer since they're actually in the roster. (You could have just shown both there honestly) There is also a Necrolyte unit in WarCraft 3 as well, it's in the Sunken Ruins tileset iirc. Overall great video!
I wish reforged didn't redesign alot of the structures, I feel like a lot of the geometries should have been kept very similar, except more explicitly detailed and significantly higher resolution textures. It really looks like Samwise wasn't involved in the remastering process.
8:14 so lame, straight out from WoW :\ original had much better aesthetics even tho it was so similar to regular footman (which actually make sense cause of the history)
