What will you do once you are the Strongest, hmmm? Perhaps it is not my place to ask, or perhaps I already know... One of the best quotes from the Star Ocean series as a whole.
@@MonarchBB the interesting backstory of the Celestials is that someone is always challenging them to earn the title of strongest being in the universe. The Queen is actually issuing a warning to the party. Once you become the strongest of all, then you will find no peace in it.
@@williamnone ahh that makes her quote 10x better! Was that mentioned within the game or is it just an implied piece of lore through her being a recurring super boss? A great detail regardless
How do you long jump, I’ve seen people do it in videos but it’s something that’s never mentioned. I’m trying to get a blue orb that requires the long striding jump but can’t find anything about it online. Some plez halp
@@FunStuff-zn2yb I eventually figured it out specifically right outside the room where you fight the giant spider there’s a bridge leading to the floating peak over the ocean. Before heading to the peak right outside the door on the top of the threshold there’s a floating piece of stone if you long jump you get the blue orb and some red orbs. But I eventually figured you have to lunge and jump to long jump.
I'm so glad this popped up in my recommended. This goes unbelievably hard, reminds me of what I love about fighting games. Also great choice in music, definitely need to check that track out for myself.
Do you take boring requests? I think it'd be interesting to make a quick showcase of every checkpoint in DMC1. Checkpoints that you return to if you die by using a yellow orb. The game doesn't tell you when these checkpoints are made and I think it would be useful/interesting to see just how many there are. I imagine the fastest way to test this would be to die right before the end of a mission, then, whenever the checkpoint was, you load a previous file to die right before that checkpoint. And you go backwards towards the first checkpoint of the mission, but show them in order.
I think its C-Ryougi's Selfless Knowledge - Empty Heart, Possess Truth, a custom combo super nicknamed Genei Jin for it's similarities to a Street Fighter custom combo super. The blue afterimage is the main clue for me
Just found out about you from ladewayback, gotta say you ..... scare me. But I'm subscring anyway bc you got things I'm interested in. I enjoyed the video
thx for the tips. i just pick uped Es and decided to stick with her and these tips are so helpful. Even tho learning how to utilize the crest will take some time tho. only did the basic Es tutorial and some of the ingame trials but i love playing as Es :D
I dont even play Metera was just curious to see what you was cookin over here. That spot dodge against BC set up is sick and that matchup knowledge for Nier is invaluable. Cool stuff I might have to pick Metera up too
Do you think you can do a combo video too? Didn't play much of vs so all I know is auto combo into H arrow and that doesn't give real knockdown anymore 😭
Ah I didn't even think about that, I would've put that at the end of this video since I don't think her combo theory is all that long. Yeah I can work on putting that out later in the month
Omg I did not realize metera changes to her setplay game plan is that more severe, I was so used to versus hnk I d never used butterfly after ex-arrows, I’d go into just spammed my U input to rush hop for mix up, then when I was playing rising for first time last week and playing against my buddies, I was confused why all these group of mix levels of new and returning gbvs player were mashing out of my mix up🤔 Thanks for making this video, I now have an idea what I have to do, and I’ll try to incorporate butterfly’s move into my pressure game. I was kinda on and off about GBVS that it was simple game I’d turn off my brain, but now my friends and other players are more bold I’m force to live up to Meteras “Genius” fighter reputation
The knockdown changes definitely affected Metera's gameplan significantly. You have to work a lot harder to win now that she can't rely on turning her zoning conversions into strong mixup chances. Good luck!
If anyone played .Hack//G.U. (PS2/PS4-5 Last Recode) in the Arena Tournament against Alkaid and you One-hit her entire team but you are forced to lose... I feel your pain 😢🤨😐
