@@La-Li-Lu-Le-Lo-Cipher Yes I'm using a PS4 controller with Sony back button attachment. All I'm doing is boosting and using a combination of thrusters (up, down, left and right), pitch, roll and yaw. I essentially sidestep out of the way from their incoming shots. Timing your boost and knowing which way to push your ship in relation to your enemy is the key here. In this fight, the above technique, the Mamba's speed advantage, and slow shot speed of the frags, dictated the outcome. Thanks for watching Cmdr 👍

@@ScarlettBussnach Sure. Sink in close to 12,000 hrs in the game and you'll be able to do it 😁. To be honest, it just takes time to get a feel for it. Looking at the contrails of the other ship helps you gauge their speed and direction. I got lucky here since he slowed down to get a lock on me. Could I do it again... unlikely. But it's fun trying
I was born and raised by the people of San Tu and I can tell you that while core mining, attempting to hit the abrasions with the abrasion blaster with FA off and NOT targeting them is a pretty solid way to "train" against a silent running target.

However, it can cause you to drift in a straight line whilst flipping., resulting in placing you in front of your opponent. In this fight, I tried to maintain position above my opponent, using boost and the landing gear to tighten my turn on him.
Found this place after seeing it listed on Cannon Research. The place is really creepy. If it's not because of the story the logs tell it's the fact that if you just sit there either in the SRV or your ship you hear strange comms traffic from what sounds like someone who had something happen to them there a long time ago.
GG Amigo. I wasn't too concerned with the local po po. You're my 1st adversary to self destruct. You died on your terms, which I respect more than you running. As for the synthing, plan for this during the fight, especially with frags. Try jousting then immediately synth 1 weapon after the joust. Hope you liked the music. o7 cmdr

Maybe. But to his credit, despite trying hit a fast agile small target using fixed weapons, he stayed to the end. Yeah I won the fight but he fought the hardest!

Well I can tell you my FDL isn't meta. When was the last time you saw a FDL lose its prismatic shield and survive long enough to get it back, whilst being focused by 4 experienced cmdrs?? Would you be interested in seeing a Viper take down a meta FDL?

Yeah, I agree with you totally. Since I'm on PS4 it limits you to certain key bindings on the controller. But I'm accustomed to it now to the point where I no longer need a reticle to hit my target (mostly). Thanks for watching 👍
Lol. Well where I live, we drive on the left side of the road. So the FDL feels natural for me since the frame resembles the windscreen pillar on a car. Anyways, thanks for watching 👍
