Do not believe anything DECKED says. They’re going to end up in a lawsuit for false advertising. I bought one of these-biggest waste of $2,000. I had it installed by one of their “dealers,” who have no specialty knowledge or training. I reached out to DECKED because it was incredibly difficult to operate once I had weight on it. They sent me a couple of rollers and told me to find someone to install them. Their warranty process for repairs is nonexistent. They know they’re lying about the product’s claims, and when you actually use it as advertised and it doesn’t work, they’re fully aware it won’t. When you reach out for help, they know they’re just spinning their wheels trying to fix something that doesn’t work.

Add 250 lbs of cheap plastic to your rear decreasing your payload and towing capacity AND reduce the depth of your bed to about 6 inches so anything you need to carry just falls right out so your truck becomes useless in exchange for getting the same awesome power you could have by simply putting your tools in a toolbox or cab. All for the low low price of only $1,700. What a terrific product. You’d have to really been drinking to buy this.
Too bad they still advertise this ladder, but when the toolbox is ordered, you don't get a ladder. I chatted with customer service; they no longer offer the ladder!!!
These drawers are junk and the worst part about it is the company does not stand behind their product at all. Period. Go for a more quality system like goose gear.
I agree with ChefAlex and wasted space. I currently have a decked system in my pickup and sleep on top of that under a truck cap. I would love to have the cargo glide on top of the decked but would like it to extend from sidewall to sidewall. The decked system is already above the wheel wells so a wider cargo glide would have no limitations for being wider except the side walls of the truck bed. It seems like a no brainer to utilize all of the space above the wheel wells.
what's the weight of this? Tacos don't have a ton of payload so if you'd load this up combining the weight of the unit plus the passengers it might be over.
I would love a mod that turned this into a slide out cargo case. I plan on buying 2 600s for my sierra 1500. Only the 5.5. Tho as I want a foot of space at front of bed for water tank. Great product.
If this system came with all the boxes and little plastic bullshit add ons MAYBE the price would be worth it. But for my truck this would cost me over $1600 to lose my bed space. From the top of this system to the bed rails is what maybe a foot? If I wanted to tie everything down I’d buy a flatbed. My boss has one of these and his biggest gripe is when you put too much stuff in the drawers they won’t open For example he put his tool belt in one with a bunch of other stuff. It goes in there nicely but after a few bumps something will stick up enough that the drawer will not open. I can pack my xl weathguard to the brim and it opens every time.
I'll stick to mod boxes on a rollout bed. This would be great for hunting and camping gear though and other various uses. What's nice about this system is you still have a flat surface on top to carry plywood or other large items.
I really want the new single drawer system on my Trailhunter, but I’m almost positive the Decked system will completely block the tire compressor flip door on the left side of the truck bed. Has anyone tried to install one on a Trailhunter?
Would I be able to put a different drawer slide from another company on the decked drawer system? Also is there ever a chance you will be releasing 100% extension or at least closer to?
This might be just what I need. I have always straight away from the cargo glide because I like to put ladders and such underneath my crossbox. This would give me the best of both worlds.
I purchased a cargo glide from decked, and I’ve had nothing problems since the day I got it. I had it installed by one of their “dealers”. When I called them and asked for help on resolving the issue, they treated me like absolute trash. They do not stand behind their product. Their advertising is false and it’s gonna land them in some legal trouble.
Alex, I have asked Decked customer service but no one has an answer… Will the Decked draw system fit the Trailhunter or is the compressor flip door blocked?
