8 speed grabs the power band well at highway speeds on hills. I see folk pulling big campers with these all the time in the mountains no issues. I know of one with 206k that tows 7400lbs camper no issues yet.
Pretty much the shitiest civic ever made. They are garbage even on flat pavement they constantly need tune ups and its so easy to strain the tyranny and u get to the point u gun it and it barely goes.
Unless it’s a super rare collector vehicle you got for a song you better anticipate you’ll never get your money back, let alone accounting for all the time on a mass production vehicle. Most people will be financially way further ahead buying a nice original or one some else already restored.
Been 2YRS, by now I would assume you have moved on from these or they might have burned out by now. If they did burn out, how long did they last or are they still going and holding up?
@@Carfleet how long would you say they lasted til the terrain messed them up? got myself the same pair but I'm just doing regular highway/city driving. followed your tip and did silicone around the edges to prevent moister and detaching
I bought a 78 F100 new It was black with the decal that was all different colors that ran down the whole length of the truck. Unfortunately it had that boat anchor 351m. I had a hard time going over those 2 mountains west of Denver on I70. Had it floored doing 45mph
