That’s insanely fast!! Unfortunately third battery doesn’t add up in terms of economical value to me. Import from mainland China is also challenging cause batteries are classified as dangerous goods.
I'm thinking to get one with 3rd battery but i don't know if this motorbike is acceptable to use in long distance trips. I'm consider this option to reach my job location (33 kms to go and 30 kms to return) reaching 110 km/h constantly. I'm afraid to decrease battery service life cause i'm not going to use brake regeneration too much. What you think about that?
Short and simple answer is that 30km to work on high speed especially constant speed is definitely possible. Even with suboptimal conditions such as headwinds or some load. It will be more challenging once you go bananas with the throttle at traffic stops. If you have the ability to charge at work, you wont have to worry. If not possible to charge at work, it would most likely still make it back home but with moderate speed. So far i’ve driven 15k km and my longest journey was 50 km with constant speed around 100km/h. After my journey, the battery (2 pcs) were completely drained. Keep in mind the road I drove was flat, so with hills 50km constantly 100 km/h would be more challenging.
@@ganzoy Thank you for your feedback. Yes, We have electric charging station in my work. So with 3rd battery I shouldn't worry. The road I will go is flat so it's perfect. Other option that I consider is put on the front a windscreen to improve the stability to make the wind don't strike directly on my body. I was considering buy a Honda PCX 125 too cause I can drive it with B1 in posesion with 3 years last long, but I think that Segway its the best opcion cause I will save a lot of money about gasoil and maintenence...

E300P is essentially same as E300SE in terms of performance. Same electrical engine. Performance comes from the batteries which delivers more energy -> more power.
Do you experience any issues with braking? I feel woppling sensation with front braking which only gets worse over time. I've understood it's due to the (lower) steer bearing. Parts are hard to get almost exclusively by dealers due to special model for European market. Front brake calibers and discs are unique to this model. I'm not sure about the rear caliber and disc. Braking is serious issue on this scooter since there is lots of power to handle. Another issue I'm occasionally facing are the mirrors which sometimes come loose to the vibration. Besides brakes and mirrors, all well.
Yes, I too have tremors on the brake trigger, particularly the rear one. And when I brake too hard the braking no longer works, I crashed into a sidewalk because of that. now I'm afraid when I have to brake in emergency
niu have same issues so dont worry its all a china thing.i have a 3 piston front caliper which is good but eat the brake pads fast.also the steerings need to check from time to time we have here bad roads which can damage the bearings faster.
Thanks for uploading new video, showing the topspeed! Going back to prev. conversation. The speed gain and acceleration are awesome. However this power has been patched by Segway due to mistake with first generation batteries. The newer generation of batteries have been electronically limited to cut of power reducing top speed. Also the acceleration curve has been patched giving you less power from start with three batteries. Maybe it's possible with Chinese batteries shipped from the E300P. On another note I like the windshield I have the same on my scooter. Also I recently got custom phone holder which fits the dashboard perfectly.
Owners of e300se have told me recently they own de bike 1 week ago with 3 battery and they still have the extra power like me, so maybe that what are you talking about is on another country, in spain actually still work like mine

we have check on telegram with some other segway e300se owners and the 3rd battery stay upgrading the kW increase, so the brand know thats exist and they prepared the hardware and software for this power on purpose
@@themaisjepensaispascadtoi739 i dont know if you like to increase the aceleration yes of course, the diference is with 2 battery 12 seg 0-100, with battery 0-100 in 7 sec, and yes, i have reached the 135km/h with more than 60%
Update on the 3rd battery performance. I've heard from the supplier that Segway made a mistake with the batteries. Segway patched the increase of performance with second generation of batteries focusing on range instead of performance. Count yourself lucky with the old generation battery.
This 0-100kmh was with 3 battery, we discover if you have the 3rd battery there's not only +50% extra range, its +50% KW(CV) extra, with 2 battery It works with 14kw max, with 3 it goes up to almost 22KW!
Another question related to the steering. Do you encounter ‘rattling’ shaking noise in front of the bike when medium to hard front breaking? It feels unpleasant and sometimes unsafe.
I think i know what are you taking about, i think my bike do the same thing, but the most of time i just let the regenerative brakes work and i dont use the mechanics a lot, but yes i think sometimes my bikes do the same noise and shake your saying
Glad to hear I’m not the only one with this issue. I agree with regenerative braking. It’s sufficient in most cases. Nevertheless it’s worth checking out what the issue is.
I think the Torque changes too, with 3 battery you do +50% on range, the weight doesn't change anything, i have check the control panel at a real time when i acelerate, with 2 battery the motor work with 14kw, with 3 battery It goes up to 20kw, its impressive, and the max speed goes up too, max speed i reached was 135km/h but i think it can go higher if the bike have more than 80%
I dont know if It is legal, cause 14kw with 2 battery are like 20cv and thats a lot of for a 125cc, but with the 3 battery It goes up to 20kw... Thats like 28cv on a 135kg bike with this Torque.. It feels not like a 300cc, It feels like 600cc 0-100kmh..
Thanks for the comprehensive answer! Really appreciated, especially since there at not lots of people with same bike. For me personally the steep price of third battery is economically difficult to offset. About the power output, normally 2 batteries should only deliver maximum of 10 kWh. If third battery makes it accelerate even faster (more power) and have more range I might consider getting one. Downside will be charging time and limited amount of space. My average battery consumption is about 4.33 kWh per 100 km based on total km of 2875km
If your consumption is 43.3wh/km that mean with 3 battery of this bike just going to 100% battery to 15% you are going to do around 118km with that firsts 85%
