A few takeaways: 1) Loved how Mick broke down the catch all phrase “election hacking” into 3 discrete buckets of actual activity 2) Tim Wainwright’s comment about even the execution of one single hack, anywhere, and the report of that hack thereafter is enough to cast doubt on the overall results was big 3) They didn’t mention anything about mail in voting on a national level if COVID-19 is a justification for limiting traditional local electronic voting Overall, I learned that if I was a hacker, I could get great ROI by simply attempting an attack on a crucial county in a swing state: successful or not the narrative could quickly become simplified to “results not legit” and would be chaotic regardless of who’s behalf it was on
