I wanted better sound, so I switched to a Rode SmartLav+ microphone I had lying around. However, transferring files after a long shoot takes forever via USB. While I can take out the SD card, it's small and fiddly with my big fingers, plus the card door feels fragile.
People have mentioned it in these comments, but the easiest way to get a metronome is to connect your phone to the GoKeys with Bluetooth (audio), then use a metronome app on your phone. The metronome audio comes through the speakers of the keyboard. The GoKeys is smart enough to start recording when you hit a key, so you can ignore the built-in count-in metronome and use the Bluetooth metronome as your actual click track. As long as you time your first played note well - to match the metronome - you should be good to go, with the huge plus of not hearing a recorded click track in your mix.

needing the app on the phone kills this, unless your phone is compatible with the app, which of course mine is not. It can't be that hard to connect to a PC using bluetooth...makes you wonder why they want the app in the middle? spyware on the phone?
Great example! Question for you, AMP - I'm looking to film a scene involving three actors but I don't want to use a boom mic. In your opinion, would one lavalier mic connected to the zoom f2 pick up all three actors if they are roughly three feet away? Can I hook up up multiple mics to the f2? what would you suggest? Also it could work in theory, the problem would be that with the mic on one actor, the volume and the audio response would be very different between when the actor with the mic is talking w.r.t. when the others are talking, also you would need to fix that in post for every scene. It’s easier to have a mic for every actor, since also synching many mics should not be a problem with the time code function of the zoom.
Zoom mic sounds so much better than the thin sound of the rode mic. Did you place them in the same spot when comparing? Did you try a Primo em172 em272 based microphone with the f2? Have a sony pcma10 but this looks really interesting for talking outside.
I go by memory - finer. The flow was considerably higher on the IMS, also to keep the extraction time at 30s I increased the resistance of the coffee puck by grinding finer.

Great tip! Another way is to go into the LOOP MIX mode, and select 07 "BRIGHT ROCK", then touch the FAR left key to start the drum beat. It's a single note of a drum kit that works well as a click track. Set the tempo in the SETTINGS, and then touch LOOP MIX button to go back to your instrument selections. Select your instrument, and now your all set. You also have a visual indication on your screen of where the beginning of the measure is.
These are so bad don't buy them, they have no antireflective coating, so whenever you shoot into shadows against a bright light source, you see heavy ghosting in your image. Ruined so many shots for me.

Ciao, durante una giornata tipo, no non si sente dolore. Ci si dimentica di avere l’apparecchio. Invece nei giorni dopo le visite dal dentista spesso ho sentito male. Insomma sì hai male, ogni tanto, pero sai già quando succede, in base al calendario delle visite, e ti puoi organizzare in anticipo (e comunque puoi prendere degli antidolorifici se serve).
