I'm of the firm opinion that Risu (and others) who are "firm", help the Holomem who have a harder time being "firm". They help the entire community, not just Risu's.
To me, the most miserable people are those who believe they are doing the right thing, even though they are actually not. So, be thankful if someone scolds you for doing something wrong. Be thankful because now you can rectify your mistake. Be thankful because now you can use your efforts to do better. And finally, be thankful that someone actually cares enough about you. If they don't care, they can simply ignore you, as you will only sink deeper and deeper into your mistake. If someone scolds you, don't get angry immediately. Instead, take some time to consider whether there may be truth in what they are saying. If there is, try to correct the error, and be thankful. (Well, if they're just being ridiculous , that's a different matter entirely.😂)
The smartass retorts from the audience is smh worthy, like that "why is she sensitive". It's not that hard to just settle down, accept her words and reflect on it.
Her streams are like that (a bunch of friends hanging out) precisely *because* she's always been up front with the rules and has never given leeway on them. She's cultivated a community rooted in mutual respect and that knows the difference between light ribbing and just being mean.
And that's really how it should be, she has obvious experience as a streamer, and interestingly enough by establishing rules to eliminate the unacceptable behavior from the get go, not just to say it but to enforce with timeouts and bans the less secure of the viewers will feel more secure because the people that are rude and disrespectful are weeded out as well likely spammers and other such undesirable people. The one that persists gets banned and if she's smart and it's a SC'er that's crass she can pull up the superchat and then publicly ban the inappropriate person explaining that said behavior was inexcusable, but that is an extreme case
Basically they are lol. I remember a clip from a year or two ago when Ollie was saying that since she lives very close to Kobo she takes her out to eat. In fact in the clip they were talking about burgers or food i don't remember, and Ollie said "don't do it because then I'll be the one who has to go buy her food at McDonalds"
streamer reflect chat, & vise versa. her viewers (the loud vocal & generous ones) largely consist of married working men, and their wives. imo this boo-ling is not initiated by them, but rather 75% of her viewers who's single & underage (she's conducted a poll on stream once). not helping that she's on record sayin' that if she'll get to an arranged marriage if not accepted into hololive. but dont worry, she's one of ID girls. even her chat complains sometimes that her roasting is too harsh.
Tbh it's because Risu like to play along with this kind of stupid antics the most. like other members did it too, but with Risu it's more like booli-ing your friend rather than just viewers-streamer interaction😂
Remember, if you ever want to form a tribalism society in Hololive (literally no one asked for this btw), remember that fans of the other girls also enjoy "booli the talent" as much as you do. Be united by the power of booli
