@@916BeamTeam Yeah thats what you get with an incompetent coach playing him 12 MINUTES A GAME! Did you expect him to score 20 points in 12 minutes?? 5.4pts in 12 minutes, no matter how you twist it is good for *ALMOST 22 POINTS* per 48 minutes!Compare it to Bum Lyles who regularly played TWICE as many minutes as Sasha AND YET JUST 7.2PTS IN 20 MINUTES ! Which is good for about *17 POINTS PER 48 MINUTES* ! ! ! Mike Brown is a biased fool! Good luck reaching the play-in tournament now with Vezenkov and Jordi Fernandez gone(your assistant coach who wasn't just sitting there WITH HIS HANDS IN HIS POCKETS AND A DEATH STARE WHILE THE QUEENS BLOW A 4th QUARTER LEAD FOR THE 30th TIME THIS YEAR!)
Our team isn’t big enough to win a playoff series. We need size. Keegan is skinny and soft and Sabonis is undersized… Barnes, Kev, Duarte have all been useless as well
Definitely don't disagree with you. Keegan would be perfect as our 3/SF. Need some rim protection down low at the 4. And yeah we need some upgrades to our rotation. Can't go into next year with HB in our starting lineup
Okay I can’t take it back. Size and injuries did us in. No monk and a limping Keeg… size hurt us on top of that. Proud that we fought to make it a game at the end but we can’t come back next year with the same roster unless we wanna go back to 0 playoffs for another 18 years. Time to upgrade cleverly
I feel like Mike Brown is holding Sasha back as an x-factor/ace in the hole later in the season/post-season. I also have been wondering if Fox has had something personal/family bothering him that he doesn't feel like talking about publicly.
Can’t lie, that thought has definitely crossed my mind 😅 but i can’t think of a single time in NBA history where a coach/organization did something like that lol Also, Fox has said it has nothing to do with his personal life or family and multiple members of the media have confirmed that
Yeah man we’re at an interesting spot in this nucleus’ development where we’re not ready to be making win now moves but we also have some pretty clear weaknesses that need to be addressed. And i think in order to keep up with some of these other rising teams in the West, we need to make improvements sooner rather than later. If you can get a guy like Mikal Bridges (who fits our timeline and has years left on his deal) without disrupting our nucleus, i think you make that move immediately before some other team does
@@916BeamTeam I hear you. However SAC is already “ winning now” . I wish we can just let teams be teams that build real bonds with each other, fans and coaches and then win or lose until they may possibly win a championship. This trading system is annoying
I disagree with you on this one thing. The Hawks without Trae would be similarly as good as the pistons… 🥶 as a kings / hawks fan lol. I’m glad my kings won because they’re actually gonna most likely make the playoffs ! I’m glad we won and controlled the game but beating the hawks without Trae is nothing to be happy about imo. That’s a ‘minimum result is a win’ - type game imo
Dude idk if we’ve ever seen a team as bad as these Pistons 😭 but yeah i guess im just happy any time the Kings win lol especially after a 4 game losing streak. And the Hawks have a solid team on paper, just obviously hasn’t translated to winning :/
@@916BeamTeam I feel it man. Agreed. We are in the same page and yea the hawks aren’t great but a win is a win and that we should be grateful for. Not necessarily happy about tho lol
We have no size. The passing is mid. Our offense isn’t as good and our clutch defense is one of the worst in the league… Sabonis needs to be willing to play the 4 once in a while and we need wings other than GARBAGE BARNES AND DUARTE SMH
Kings unfortunately may need to have get worse in the short term to be better in the long term. I think barnes and huerters bad contracts are hurting the team from making moves. Trading these players for shorter contracts/expiring contracts even if it means they get back worse players in return can help create cap space to strengthen the roster in the offseason. They are a guaranteed 1st round exit team with this current iteration of this squad.
Dude I'd be hella down for that. But that'd be a tough sell to a fanbase who just experienced the playoffs for the first time in 16 years. Also, say we do trade for guys on expiring deals, they all probably walk in the summer. That's just how it goes in Sactown sadly :( Nobody wants to come here which is why we gotta trade for guys.
You’re right. Trade Fox. One of the most overrated player in the NBA. No one wants to admit it but they would much rather have dealt fox for Sabonis but the Pacer appropriately valued Halliburton more than Fox.
You're 100% right. However, just because no one wants HB or Huerter or literally anyone off our bench not named Malik, doesn't mean we should trade Fox, Domas, or Keegan. Even if we stand pat at the deadline again, we're still a good team. Fox and Domas are just reaching their primes and Keegan imo is developing into an All-Star level guy. Gotta let these guys grow together. Can't blow shit up every other year ya know?
Man how you a Kings fan but don’t like Fox 😂 You are right though, we weren’t getting Domas without giving up Hali. But it’s worked out for both teams and Fox is a borderline MVP and yet might not even make the ASG. Hasn’t been playing great as of late but he’s criminally underrated
I'm not saying trade Fox, I'm just saying nobody will want Barnes or Heurter for any big name that the Kings have been rumored to be in trade talks with.@@916BeamTeam
I think we definitely need a few upgrades if we want to become a legitimate contender. But a strong wing defender would be a good start. Now that OG and Pascal are off the table, I think Dorian Finney-Smith is the next best option. If Caruso's price were to somehow go down, I'd love him on this team too
Love the content bro. As a fellow kings fan i think the panic in the fan base recently has been a slight overreaction, but its hard with all the trade talks and us missing out on pascal as well as OG sucked. But I'm confident in this team and our stars when they're giving it their all its unstoppable.
Appreciate you man! At the time that I recorded this video, I think the panic in the fanbase was an overreaction for sure. But now in the last week or so we've lost to Philly and Indy who didn't have Embiid or Hali (among other starters), and then of course the two worst losses of the year back to back in Milwaukee and Phoenix...so maybe they were right all along to be panicking lol With that said though, I do still think we have a solid team. Definitely not contenders, but I mean they've proven they can hang with anybody. Just hoping they respond well and play with some urgency heading into the All-Star break
