Hello there, we are sonible. A bunch of developers, audio engineers, designers, ... who use the latest scientific discoveries in sound engineering and auditory science to create tools - audio plugins and hardware - to improve day-to-day audio production and reproduction workflows. Our user-centered technology is built for sound engineers, musicians and, in fact, anyone who is involved in the process of generating or reproducing audio content. This channel will introduce you to our developments and we upload a lot of tutorials so you can learn how to use every feature and function of our audio plugins.
This should be done on the loudest part of the song, not the quietest seeing it only references the track for a few seconds (as evidenced by the blue bar). You did say “final limiting” correct?
I have an instance of Smart EQ 4 on every track in Studio One but when I want to load an instance in Smart EQ 4 there are none on the right side of the Smart EQ 4's GUI ? Am I missing something ?

This is really a good equalizer. Just finished the 30 days free trial which is really cool. One little note for "QA" department : Add a popup of a noise, or gently voice that reminds trial has ended instead of muting sound. Happened in Fruity Loops 22. Work loads. Plugins are loaded, no warning. Press play : no sound. Great stuff anyway!
Hi Sonibles....any plans to add actual sidechaining in addition to the heirarchy? Sidechaining to a dynamic eq that's running mid/side is what I want to do!
Hi. Very nice plugin. I often use true:balance. There's a question. I received an update (truebalance_win_1.0.4), but I can't find any information about what has changed/improved. Or is this just a minor technical update? And is the smartEQ-5 coming soon? It would be very desirable to have an instrument in the band that shows frequencies of one track that conflict with frequencies of another track. Thank you.
Hi! In this case we fixed some inconsistencies that occurred when switching the integration speed as well as stability issues in a certain DAW. Hint: If you're interested in the changes you can always find them on www.sonible.com/downloads for any plug-in. And no, there's no smart:EQ 5 planned too soon 😉We'll add the idea to our feature backlog for smart:EQ 4 updates.
Hi! What exactly is the issue with group mode in FL? In some DAWs it might help to delete the templates created by the DAW and start smart:EQ 4 from a clean state. We created a FAQ for this topic: help.sonible.com/hc/en-us/articles/13550384378780-Why-does-smart-EQ-4-jump-from-Group-view-to-Track-view-by-itself-and-the-Group-Section-starts-flickering I hope this helps solving your issue, otherwise please contact our support!
@@SonibleCom Thank you for your reply. I've checked out the advice in the link, and amazingly, it does seem to have fixed the issues I was having. I will keep testing it and contact support if I encounter further issues.
Hi! In case you want to look at more tutorial videos you'll find them, and the smart:gate manual for detailed explanation, here: www.sonible.com/blog/smartgate-user-guide/
The streaming targets only show you, if you audio material is loud enough for a certain streaming platform. The automatic parametrization is NOT controlled by the LUFS value of the file, but the dynamics value. See this article for more information: help.sonible.com/hc/en-us/articles/4412322979730-Why-does-smart-limit-ignore-my-selected-loudness-publishing-target-during-learning
@@SonibleCom yes but I love this particular dude tutor and would love if he doesn't only appear on shots. Very understandable and simple and he uses my brand of daw(FL STUDIO) Of which others don't use. FL STUDIO users will appreciate him more to go on a long video. Thanks 🙏
@@MixByWheeler-np9im pure:unmask is a more focussed approach for unmasking - it uses technologies that are also at work in smart:EQ 4 and smart:comp 2. However, the processing can be compared to the sidechain ducking in smart:comp 2 rather than the spectral mixing approach in smart:EQ 4. The latter uses a combination of static and time-varying processing. The more time-critical, sample-accurate, processing of pure:unmask requires a dedicated sidechain since only the DAW can warrant for this property.
0:36. You put an instance of Smart EQ on many tracks. So which one do you use to "unlock" and group them? Do you just choose one and they all coordinate... or do you need to put another one on the master bus? I'm confused about how you did that. Can you please explain?
Love most of the sonible plugins ❤ I'd love to use them as my main go to plugins but the autogain bothers me A LOT. Are there any plans for fixing this in the current version of smartcomp? I really don't want to wait for V3. I'd also love to have more control balancing the spectral signal with the normal compression in case I use the filters. If I use heavy spectral compression the sound below and above the filters are barely audible. Sometimes I really want this to be a multiband comp, but if I understand this product right, this tries to be an alternative to multiband processing. So ... will smart comp (3?) will get more features to be the ultimate sonible compressor or will you come up with a smartMulti and just add bands with their own spectral processing?
