I always loved to ride a bike, but hated having to trudge up the many hills in suburban Philadelphia. Then along came Ebikes. My goal was to find a Fat Tire Ebike that was powerful enough to move my fat ass up steep hills and trails and rugged enough to take the abuse. After disappointment and sticker shock with several brands I decided to create my own custom Ebike. This led to a reliable Chinese manufacturer with a superior product who would work with me. It was well worth the wait as you will see - upgrades on every component at less than half the price.
Those in the market for a heavy-duty Fat Tire Ebike will see the quality and features this Ebike has at a fraction of the cost. Those looking at Hunting Ebikes will be especially impressed at the power and rugged frame and shocks.
I will be ordering another shipment soon with the same specs and configuration (cadence sensor optional).
If you're interested reach out to my email 1749Aidenn@gmail.com for details.

Do the Mr Tuffy liners move around inside the tire when the PSI is set under 25 psi? Does that cause them to shift around at all?
@CER1749
@CER1749 5 месяцев назад
I haven't had a problem with the liners shifting - at least none I've noticed by any uneven or out of balance rotating. I do keep the tires at about 25 or maybe even softer. I ride over rugged terrain primarily - a lot of gravel and dirt trails - and only had one flat after about 3000 miles. Very happy with the performance.

I actually have two ebikes now - I've ordered for several and kept another for myself. About 1300 miles on the first, 750 miles on the second. Both back tires are basically bald at this point, especially bike #1 - but thankfully no flats. Of course, I probably just jinxed myself.

You are correct. The marker at the site indicates 26 lives but was not right. However, the official number of 27 never took into account those who died within a few years - from injuries sustained in the accident - so the total could be even higher.

@CER1749

Wow. I never heard of this brand, but after pulling up the website (www.fabulousebikes.com/online-store/ROAD-WARRIOR-X2-60v-p404297787) I can see it's just like all the other importers who cut corners on the upgrades and mark up the resale 300% If I order 24 bikes, I can put my own branding on it - apparently like this seller. Although it's a dual motor, it's only 750/750 (vs. 2000 hub motor) and no torque sensor - nor does it have the double shoulder front fork w/ air shocks.. It does have pretty much all other upgrades - adjustable stem, suspension seat, 60V/24AH SAMSUNG battery (very important for safer recharging), hydraulic brakes, lights, fender, rack, etc....but even still it's priced at $3300 CN - about $2500 US. I'm not in the ebike business, but learned a lot and have now purchased 4 bikes for friends/customers as I get one configuration (with all upgrades) via a wholesale relationship. The only drawback is the wait time of 60-75 days. The manufacturer is ZHUHAI SHUANGYE ELECTRONIC TECHNOLOGY CO.,LTD and they have their own US website operations (www.hotebike.com) and you can find a similar configuration to my bike here (www.hotebike.com/60v-2000w-fat-tire-electric-mountain-bike-snow-bicycle-a7at26-60v2000w/) albeit without fenders/rack adjustable stem, suspension seat and torque sensor. Even with this lesser configuration, it's still $500. more that what I had offered......but still 50% less than a comparable bike from a US retailer. Most ebike retailers are 200-400% markup.

how is it holding up? Can it be installed to bring the handlebars closer for a more upright ride?
@CER1749
@CER1749 Год назад
It's a great accessory and along with the saddle seat I just added, I can comfortably cruise for 50 miles. I adjusted it to a more upright position, and needed to readjust my handbrakes and gear shift so that they were angled more comfortably. One note on the adjustable stem - you need to use the kex key/allen wrench and make sure it's really tight before you lock it down - or it might slip if you hit a hard pothole, like it did with me once.

Sorry, you missed my last order. I plan on placing another order in June if interested. It's a significant savings if you're not in a rush. I order them in bulk and since I load them with every option available, there is no customization - however, you can see the base stripped down bike I started with at their US retail website - www.hotebike.com/eur-60v-2000w-fat-tire-electric-chopper-bike-a7at26-60v2000w/ You can see this base bike is quite a bit more expensive than what I had priced my custom bike from. No double-shoulder front air shocks, no cadence sensor, no hydraulic brakes, etc. It also has a lesser battery - not 24AH Samsung EV cells, which I really believe makes a huge difference in both safety/reliability and number of cycles. It's a very solid bike from a 15+ year ebike manufacturer, but it's still from China so there can be some issues to contend with.

Ordered road tires for my 26x4.0 bike and gonna do this and tuffy liners. How has this combination been holding up for you?
@CER1749
@CER1749 Год назад
Funny you should ask - although I've been lucky and have had NO punctures or leaks, my back tire is worn - very little tread in the middle. The knobby off-road tires are getting worn. I've got over 500 miles, and they are probably a bit overinflated at 28 psi - but I'm considering getting road fat tires for a more smooth and quieter ride but I'm probably 50/50 road/trail.

I really hadn't tested it specifically but tend to reset the trip odometer after each charge. I drained it all the way yesterday after 3 days or riding and it read 74 miles. I generally keep the PAS at 3 or 4 and rarely use electric only. The terrain here in PA is also very hilly and I'm a big guy at 260+. I'm hoping I average about the same - 74 miles can more than take me anywhere I want to go in a day. Pedaling this 92 lb bike and my weight, with high resistance fat tires is a real workout. I had to go about a mile after the battery was completely exhausted! At the end, so was I.
@southernebiking
@southernebiking Год назад
@@CER1749 I know what you mean, I have a fat tire bike that does not weigh that much but it’s still a pain to pedal on its own. I think that heavy motor in the bike wheel also adds a lot of resistance. I have a home built mid drive typically does not use power once you’re up to speed or uphill. So we get good mileage on it as well. 74 miles, yeah I don’t believe I would want any more than that in one day. Really looks like a cool bike.
