Hi Emily! Thanks for your amazing videos! May I ask if you happen to know the answer, in what ways can African Americans invest in African fashion? I’ve been doing research but keep hitting a stumbling block however I do know it’s a 31 billion dollar booming business, I’ve been reading from African fashion alone. I plan on relocating to Africa in a few years and I of course plan to bring entrepreneurial skills in other ways, however I still an interesting in learning ways to invest in the motherland in which I’m passionate about. I know there’s a vast amount of opportunity, but I’m a sub of yours and getting back into my creative endeavors! Would love to hear back when able:) thanks
Thank you for being an engaging subscriber. Like you rightly mentioned, the African fashion industry is a multi-billion dollar sector with a lot of untapped opportunities. I’d like to issue a disclaimer here that I’m not an investment expert, hence, my suggestions should be subjected to further scrutiny and research. I’d categorize my suggestions in two folds: mainstream and downstream. As a mainstream investor, consider owning an African curated fashion brand. You could also consider establishing a fashion school. Downstream; outsource experts and designers, then buy/pay/invest in their idea, or do a partnership. I wish you all the best Emily.
@@EmilyPeace thank you so very much for your well thought out response this is amazing you have me more informed!! I’ll continue to research your suggestions absolutely love your suggestions thanks 😊
Hi, you mentioned that your shoulder measurement divided by 2 is 14” minus 1”, but you ended up marking 6”. This is incorrect! I'm assuming you meant your shoulder measurement is 14’’. This divided by 2 is 7”. If you substact 1” from the 7”, you get 6”.
