Just to give a scriptural analysis,false teachers in the Bible are blatantly described as people who deny the divinity of Christ and also people who teach dogma such as you shouldn’t give unto marriage or you can’t eat meat or things such as this. A false prophet is a person who does not get called by Jesus in visions and in dreams exclusively, and wears sheep’s clothing but inside is a wolf, so a person with no fruit or good results would be a wolf, and in my scripturally and Jason Hilliker approved conclusion prophet lovy fits into the category of a true prophet scripturally, but based on RU-vid videos and feelings you may conclude that he’s false, and just to put a perspective if there was RU-vid in the time of prophet Elisha or Elijah People would say there false because Elisha laid on a dead boy and kissed him to raise him from the dead, Elijah threw wood in a body of water to make a axe float-sounds iffy, also Elisha cursed someone to have leprasy for five generations sounds kind of iffy, Elisha called a bear to kill two boys for calling him bald sounds iffy, so with these standards of what makes a true prophet were actually applied to prophets in scripture we would consider them false especially with propagated RU-vid videos designed to take things out of context for the soul purpose of demonization. This is my opinion but I also confirmed my opinion with two holy,mature ministers in roots one being Jason. So I would love to have a more in depth discussion about why I believe prophet lovy to be a true prophet, but if I’m a immature believer to you, just ask Jason or Luke about the ordeal. Hi Steven! I’m sorry you feel differently than I do. I know I can’t possibly speak for everyone at Roots Church, but we as senior leadership don’t affirm Lovy Elias or Passion Java as healthy influences. I’d love to have a deeper conversation with you if you’re interested 😊 This won’t suffice as a thorough argument, but maybe I can help you peer into my mind as I assess this. As mentioned in the video, we have four categories of prophet: 1. Holy 2. Immature 3. Charlatan 4. Demonic. After studying several hours of video, I think it’s pretty safe to assume that actual miraculous signs are taking place through spiritual power (such as the disappearing of an unborn child in the womb after prayer, plentiful words of knowledge, unnaturally rapid wealth accumulation, etc.), and that the manifestations Lovy and Passion participate in are not merely human inventions. This eliminates category 3 entirely. Next, in order to test the spirit that they’re operating with, it’s best to use Matthew 7:15-20, as Jesus is directly telling us how to watch out for false prophets. The fruit of this ministry can be detected from a few sources, but I’m only going to touch on two (and I’m only going to use their own words, because a lot of discernment ministries out there want to tear them down without rationality or appealing to the scriptures, and I’m not interested in that, I’m interested in objective truth). First of all, when they teach on money, they teach a prosperity gospel, wherein the expected result tends to be greater riches for the one who gives, which feeds not love for God/neighbor, but love for money. This is unbiblical, and has ruined millions of people’s lives over the years (through many more “ministers” than Passion Java or Lovy Elias) as countless bankrupt or near bankrupt people give their last pennies in hope of securing financial salvation. Secondly, they teach their listeners how to engage with God through various forbidden practices, such as astrology, crystals, opening the third eye, and the like. The defense they use for this is that Satan stole these things from God and they’re just reclaiming them, but God teaches in the scripture not to learn how to worship God from other spiritual beings besides himself (see Deuteronomy 12), and all these practices are forbidden by the scriptures (see Deuteronomy 18). So if the spirit doing ministry at revelation church is not from Jesus, they cant fit category 1 or 2 (see Deuteronomy 13). Thus, and I don’t say this easily, but with fear and trembling, I have to believe that these prophets are false prophets ministering in the power of a spirit similar to the one in Acts 16. As I said before, I am more than happy to have a deeper conversation with you. My pastoral recommendation to you is to pray deeply and ask God to reveal peace and truth to you. Ask him to purify your heart, and I will do the same, and God will answer as to which of us is right and which is not, and you and I both will be more holy as a result of seeking God. I do have a response to the things about crystals and what spirit their operating with it’s just easier to explain in person or over the phone, just to give a quick summary I’ve watched the small amount of videos about sacrificial life style and crystals on his channel and I think we just got different impressions, for example the impression I got for sacrificial lifestyle is that finances belong to God, so if God by his Holy Spirit moves us to give whatever amount of money he asks us to give we should because he’s the boss, not give forcingly or you have to cause I’m such a holy man, but out of our love for God not because of law or dogma, and for the crystals video I got the impression that we should not buy crystals for the purpose of protecting ourselves from evil, and if we do buy them only get them in heart of decoration, and stones are referenced in book of revelation as the foundations of heaven so they actually get a bad rep because of witchcraft, so I just think we’re coming from two places two approaches, and I think this is a easy one it’s just a little cloudy right now. I remember this asshole visiting my local church and doing "faith healing" just like Jim Jones used to do. He "healed" a woman of needing her walker yet asked for more "catchers" from the crowd as she walked without her walker. Obviously he had no "faith". Maybe if Jonmark had healing capabilities, he could heal himself of his depression medication.

There are some good concepto, but you don't need to name the demon, that was a popular idea in the 70s, early 80s. And it get worse when Art makes a reference about what you must feel in order to cast out a demon, that's absolutely unscriptural . Can you imagine Jesus feeling each demonic emotion when people touched him? That's wrong. And what about Paul, when people put handkerchiefs on him? There was not feeling at all, but the demons were castes out. In those concepts , Art is wrong.
Hi Art. Thanks for the message. This was very convicting. This week, I've been telling the Lord, "I just want the kingdom," but then I've been spending an hour or two each evening watching TV. This, and some other things the Lord's been talking to me about, I need to confess and clear out of my life. I'm going to a Randy Clark conference next week, and I really do want to see more of God's kingdom happening, but your message was very timely and very convicting. Thank you.
