In my culture (Serbian, also in Bosnia and some Balkan countries) broken glasses means joy. It came from the habit of glass braking when parting, especially when live traditional music is played. So if someone is pissed and emotionally touched by the song or event, it is absolutely culturally acceptable to brake glasses.
You can put water in 2 liter bottles or any bottle and lay them in the sun and they will get warm or hot. You can put water into a dishpan on a chair outside and use a cup to pour it over your head to wash and rinse
Been to the town many times, and none of the videos I have seen say how narrow and twisty the road is. No way you can make it with a wide vehicle or trailer.
Your van looks like a home!! No wasted spsce at all. So glad to see a podcaster who is real and transparent doing stuff that is your own choice. Glad you can give a van tour showing the lived in look rather than shiw home style. I am looking forwardt following your adventures. Best wishes from New Zealand Zealand Zealand
I use propane and have for years. I get minimal condensation if it's cold out. You need a roof vent fan. Mine is always cracked open and the fan on low. Crack open a window or two and ballance the draft through your van.
Love your vlogs Holly they are always helping me learn more about living life in freedom on the road in a van car or Rv camper. Thanks again Holly! 👍🙂🙂🙂🚐🚐🚐
Wow! A honest review of van life living. Been watching these nomad videos since around 2014. Bob Wells has everybody believing is the easiest way to live. But like you hinted at, living in a sticks and bricks is the most comfortable way to live. It's boring because everything is so reliable and you don't think about it. Flip a switch to turn on the lights, take a hot shower as long as you like, Too cold in the house turn up the thermostat, to hot turn it down don't think about it again very easy, cook in your kitchen everything is working. When I go out in my camper van I am always stressing out about running out of water, electricity, propane, the gray and black tanks. At home I get up in the morning and everything's in it's place, same routine every morning, Tooth paste and brush next to the sink, make the coffee, coffee and filters in the cabinet just above the coffee pot, everyday the same.. out in my camper van everything is difficult. I can't get into a routine because I can never find things I put down in the van everything always seems to disappear, drives me crazy trying to find things I put down. But camping out with people at Quartzsite is fun and going trail riding.
OMG! My daughter is having the same symptoms of POTS, she’s still in the hospital with no answers. This information is informative I am now going to ask her team of doctors to test her. Thank you
So great. I have been watching conversion videos and all the vans look like they came out of a showroom. Your setup looks like it's actually used. Absolutely right about using ice. You're absolutely charming to boot.
Bless your heart.... You are absolutely correct 💯 & beautiful in your explanation of this... Why choose to think & perceive NEGATIVITY! It is our CHOICE after all. Thanks be to GOD for that,🙏🏽 wisdom & enlightenment. 1 ❤️
Check out will prowse RU-vid he tears lithium batteries apart to see how good they are he's the go-to solar guy he found great batteries for $400 100 amp hour twice the capacity you have for less money than you paid for One battery
Great video. In the late '80's I was in a poly-fidelity relationship for a little over three years. I understand that is not the same thing as polyamory. A longtime friend has been encouraging her daughter to ask me questions which is fine but her interest is in polyamory. So I shared this video with her. In my situation our third partner started out as our unicorn. And this evolved into a poly-fidelity relationship. Also she is the same age I was which I think helps. I keep telling her that communication is key. And that she should not be pressured into something she may not be comfortable with.
You can definitely build a van on a low budget you did an awesome job. We are building a 83 E150 converted over to E350 four-wheel drive van all reclaim number and some RV parts from Salvage RVs. And as we are learning you're never done with your van build. Always changing something to get more comfortable. Like your video Carrieann and Linda. Have safe travel and a lot of enjoyment
Hello, thanks for all the information I'm currently in the process of converting a van for full time living, I wanted to ask you how do i leave my dog in the van when its hot ? does the ac stay on? or is the van fan enough?
