I'm going to guess that it's a flooded road and that he is clearing out the silt, if that is the case shouldent he pump out the water first to avoid damaging the machine
so your not at risk at falling into a moving river? but that safety aspect seems to go out the water when he is trudging around in deep water as it is anyways...
Cameron Ohl I'd rather take the risk of falling in, than get mud in the swing gear, or rocks in the tracks. (Throw a track in the river, and you are done....)
well any air intake is really bad. also if that cold water touches the block it could crack; as well as all of the expensive electronics that are in it...
