Would it have neen possible to change the pan without removing the subframe? My RWD Mazda has a very similar setup, and the repair manual says to d/c the engine mounts and lift the engine up several inches when removing/replacing the oil pan...
Good info. Also, with the rangers (and several others) there is a rectangular rubber piece on the back side of the brake assembly. Pop that out and use a flat screwdriver to access the adjustable part of the brakes without having to take the tire and drum off. ✌👍
That’s mfs are lazy all you do is soak it with penetration oil then heat the cast iron up with torch to expand it and then gentle and I mean firm but gently pry it up starting with paint scraper up to a big flat head once you have a big flat head it’ll pop out like cherry 😂
What oil pan was it and what engine mounts are you using I’m guessing that’s a stock 96 mustang 4.6 kmember I’m trying to swap my 91 lx but I’m looking for advice before spending money
