I skipped this by accident today. And what I did was, I didn't meet Blaidd in that underground area after meeting rani. I just went more to the upside of the map and killed that wyvern dragon in the cave and met and passed the other white dragon that spit fire(didn't killed it though) Then I thought I should go back and kill these two dudes. But when I go there, I found blaidd and he said, we didn't get to meet like we agreed and then there it is, I'm in Radhan's castle area
Ohh brother ohhh you saved me, i was struggling too those too dudes for 3 days, thought they were required boss to continue story, bless you dude blesss you
I gave my strategy for phase 1 and 2 and the best way to dodge attacks. I was also explaining why I consider phase 2 easier to learn than phase 1. Which part of it is gloating?
ya lol this boss fight got me fucked up it’s extremely homosexual and ive tried 2 cheesing methods and both have been patched def skipping this and never looking back
The pistols reliably destroy the barrels quickly with the base combo so you can swap to them in a pinch, change wraith spear into an ability that bypasses the baron's shield like ball lightning or void. Otherwise I mostly did the same as you, just forgetting there were better spells to do it.
I think I messed up. When i talked to ranni and talked to everyone else, i talked to the smaller dude closer to the doorway that said I needed to take a vial or something to someone. I looked all over the internet and can’t find where I’m supposed to go. Is this reversible? Can I just go to the location where blaaid is and start up on his quest?
@@sensei-sama1410 If you're using a scythe wait until its right by you then use the q skill 1:32. Or wait until it starts moving in your direction and then immediately dash away kind of like 1:23
I just beat Genichiro yesterday. I got to a point where I was back and forth between him and lady butterfly. I did some exploring then came back and beat both of them hours apart.
Which part is causing you to take the most damage? If it's the phantoms, then put less focus on hitting the boss and more on dodging/avoiding/shielding.
I played and beat my first play thru skipping this boss fight not knowing what I was doing and had came to this video tn after i walked in the castle n saw a new traverse door n got clapped on my sec play thru rn 😂
1. This was not reuploaded. 2. In the bottom right you can see it's version 0.6.10. 3. The video was released 4 months ago during early access. You cannot update content in videos. I had no way of knowing the boss would change upon making it. The fight is mostly the same and I used my same strat and abilities to beat him.
I would note, you can just kill the illusions, and you also can life steal off the illusions, and if you have brute blood, they count for killing blows.
@@TheGoldenTempest I find that my trouble with the fight is always her triple orb attack with the massive damage, which I haven't figured out how to properly recognize or deal with. I try to save all my cooldowns for that. I also found that the illusions seem to have a major wind up on their swing, so even if you have just finished say, a 3 axe combo, you can STILL just wait till you can start a new combo, and still beat the illusion to the swing. I prefer a big wide AOE weapon for this fight, like say, axe. Makes it much easier to reliably apply damage to the boss and hit the illusions. They also seem to die in one hit, though I am not sure if that includes splash damage if you hit leandra and then in the same swing, get a reduced damage secondary hit on one of the illusions.
defeated every boss on brutal for me it was using spectral wolf and wraith spear augments for wolf are to bounce and heal, easy to kill those extra spawns of his and spectral spear for extra damage /replacable with corrupted skull as for the weapons, you can use reaper, harassing him is the best and his minions and spawns, you kill the spawns of light asap and harass boss afterward and repeat for veil you can you corrupt spell tree or void veil tree for extra dash ultimate is whatever works with your style best, for me as this boss is pretty much not or barely moving at all, Chaos Barrage you add some potions on urself for extra damage, and you will do around 800% dmg of your spell power in total with all 4 hits, easy to finish or to start fight (i dont remember the names of spells or v bloods)
For sure. It's my personal favorite. Nice and fluid. Also the e is set in motion and does damage by itself after you throw it out. Lots of undead enemies as well, so the boost is beneficial.
I've used the exact same strat to beat it at level 39. I just didn't want to make the video too long. I can upload that one as well but it might be redundant.
So it's a video of you fighting him whilst explaining absolutely zero 0% of what you are doing and how you are able to defeat him. No mechanical advice, no move advice just. "it took me a while do defeat him." over a video of you fighting him.
The mechanics only matter for the second phase. The most important part of phase one is just to dodge, and which direction to dodge like I mentioned and to attack occasionally to whittle down his hp. His mechanics themselves are minimal. It's an explanation on how I beat it, which is why I put "/explanation" in the title.
